Our stay at this hotel was very nice and relaxing. Room was clean and well-stocked with goodies. Continental breakfast was fabulous with a wide variety of breakfast items. Staff was very friendly and helpful. One suggestion...Many hotels are short-staffed with room cleaning staff...so you may want to call ahead to see if your room is ready for checking into at the designated check-in time.

We checked in late and were tired. As we were getting ready for bed, we noticed dog hair all over the carpet like a white blanket. It looked like the carpet had not been vacuumed at all. Then next morning, we told the desk manager, and he had our room vacuumed. Also, the bathroom counter had something greasy on it and the coffee condiment packets were all open with items removed. We didn't care about the packets, but it does make you wonder what else had been used that the housekeeper did not check. The back door at the end of the hall was open for most of the four days we were there. It is broken so it will not close unless you pull it shut. Staff was aware of the situation, but it did not appear there are any plans to fix it. The Internet worked some of the time and didn't some of the time. Staff said that's just the way it is. The pool was closed the entire four days we were there.

Now for the good news. Breakfast was wonderful, lots of variety, clean and well stocked. The woman who works weekday breakfast is amazing! Saturday breakfast not so much. Food was not put out until 7:15 and then some items were missing.

When we got to our room we checked the cabinets to see what kind of dishes and cookware was available to us. We found a sign in the cabinet saying to contact the front desk for dishes. It was an inconvenience but we went ahead and contacted the front desk. We were told the hotel didn't have any dishes, nor any cookware, and someone should change their website.

Don't waste your money on a King Suite Kitchenette room at this hotel.

rented adjoining rooms for my teen daughters and myself. seems no matter where we went the GPS always showed us 12 minutes away...and this was during a snow storm. The difference in the nightly price of the rooms here compared to hotels in areas closer to core downtown/retail area fully paid for our dinners out. Its not brand new...but if you are spending most of your time out and about and looking for a safe, clean and comfortable place to sleep then this is a great option.

We like to stay at Country Inn and Suites when we can, and generally it is a good experience, but this stay had some problems. The first thing was that the room was smaller than normal which put the door to the bathroom 2 feet from the bed which was unappealing. Secondly, the internet was often so slow it was impossible to use, this was surprising because generally the internet is quite good at Country Inn. The third problem was there was no hot water in the shower this morning. I've never had a hotel run out of hot water in the morning even during what is a high usage time for hot water. Also, the Jimmy Dean biscuit sandwich was ice-cold, although it warmed up nicely in the microwave. These are first world problems, but I think people should know ahead of time what to expect from this hotel. I would not blame the employees at the hotel, they are doing what they need to do to keep things going and for the most part can't do anything about these types of issues.

Last week we took a 1-week road trip from Northern California to Seattle, WA, and then back home. We stayed in other hotels along the way and stayed here for two nights on our way to Seattle, WA.

The room was clean, the ice maker worked, and the thermostat worked properly, but the WiFi was literally non-existent. They reset it but to no avail.

They offered a nice morning breakfast.
