We stayed three nights in a king suite here in July. The room was quite large with an eastern view of the river and park. The facilities were clean and the staff were excellent.

There were rock concerts at the amphitheater next door and the sound does intrude, but not excessively. (We were in the south wing furthest away from the amphitheater. Rooms in the north wing might have more noise from concerts.)

The two criticisms we had of the room were the bed and the odd placement of the television. The bed was acceptable, but not as comfortable as I expected from other reviews the sides collapse when you sit on the edge and the sprigs are noticeable as you move on the bed. The television was positioned on a fixed stand on a counter facing at a 90 degree angle away from both the bed and the sofa. To watch, you have to drag and turn the TV across the counter to face your position. (The counter was very heavily scratched and damaged from guests doing this.)

The breakfast was standard hotel fare. Runny eggs, dry potatoes, machine waffles, bad coffee & etc. They also had pre-made omelets that no one was touching because they were wildly overcooked, visibly browned and burnt.

All told it is a solid hotel in a great location.

Room Tip: Select a room in the south wing if there are concerts at the amphitheater during your stay.

A new hotel located near the Deschutes River and the river walking path. It is clean and quiet. The checkin went smoothly. Bed comfortable and amenities in the bath and towels were fine. Am a bit addicted to making my own waffles for breakfast and hope they never drop that perk.

Very nice location. This is a very modern hotel that's been built up next to an equally modern outdoor shopping area with Lululemon, American Eagle, Ben and Jerrys and a number of restaurants.
Part of the great location is also that the hotel is on the Deschutes river. You can inner tube down the river and there are a lot of people doing exactly that.
You can cross the street to rent bikes and ride on a path that goes around the river. Also within easy walking distance is a place to rent inner tubes or another for kayaks.
Next to the bike rental shack is a dog park. Through the park, dogs can also swim in the river.
You can also walk downtown but it's probably around a mile to get there. It might be best to drive.
Plenty of free parking.
There's an outdoor fire pit - you have to request it be lit. Our kids had a great time making s'mores.
Good breakfast.
In the lobby, they had water and coffee/hot chocolate stations and a big bowl of nice fruit - oranges, apples, bananas.
Decent sized indoor pool and a decent fitness room with working equipment, TVs, and a cold water station.
We had only one minor problem with a slow draining sink but overall we enjoyed the hotel.

Paid over 400 per night for two nights. Headed out for the day, returning after 330. Room had not been made up. Checking with staff was told that they only make up rooms every two days. Said we could go downstairs and request fresh supplies to carry to our room. Hardly what I would expect for 400. It seems they jack up their rates considerably in summer because people will apparently pay it.
Room was what I would expect for 200 per night not over 400. Clean and average size. Wall HVAC unit made noise that kept my spouse awake.
Breakfast was typical US hotel fare. They did have oatmeal (watery) as well as apples and oranges and minimal yogurt. If you love things made from white flour this is your place.

What. difference the staff can make! I wrote the following 5 star review last summer. However, just checked in for 6 day stay in December. Unlike every other Hampton in country, this hotel now requires pre-payment for entire stay plus a $180 incidental charge that is “refundable.”. What kind of incidentals could one possibly buy at a Hampton Inn??? We are diamond members who stay in Hamptons and Hiltons around the world 25-30 nights a year. I was shocked to be treated like dirt.

But 5 months ago, in fairness, this was review…

We stayed in a junior suite at this Hampton for 6 nights over Christmas. We highly recommend this hotel for many reasons. First, it is conveniently located across the river from the Old Mill District and you can walk across a pretty lighted bridge to Greg's Grill, Anthony's and any number of quality shops. Second, the rooms were spacious and the bed comfortable. Third, the people who worked on the front desk were friendly and charming. Fourth, the breakfast was excellent. There were omelets every day and not the powered eggs that you often get at other hotels. Great stay.

Stayed here for a couple of nights while on a hiking/driving trip through Washington and Oregon. Didn't realize how much bigger Bend has gotten since the last time I vacationed there!

This hotel is located in the Old Mill District, so it is walking distance from shops, a concert venue, a number of restaurants, and a movie theater. I stayed in a suite, and as usual in a Hampton Inn, had plenty of room. WiFi was solid, and the breakfast is filling and warm, if unmemorable. I found the night staff who checked me in very helpful and kind. Everything seems to be kept in good condition - clean and tidy. Couldn't ask for much more.

Having never been to Bend, we weren't sure what to expect, but when we approached the little bridge by car right before the property, we gasped. It is right adjacent to the Deschutes River in a fabulous location within walking distance of a meandering path, restaurants, and nice shops.

Upon check in, the staff all had masks, and the room had a sticker on the door entrance to show it had been extra cleaned for Covid-19. Room was clean and spacious, beds comfy, and room quiet.

We would definitely come back!

We stayed over Mother's Day weekend and had a nice experience. The breakfast was good and there was plenty of coffee available! The rooms were clean. We used the app to check in/out and used the digital key. This worked great. The only issue to be had was the pool was not open while we were there. This was absolutely not the hotel's fault. Someone broke a wine bottle in the hot tub and it had to be cleaned before use. The hotel solved this problem by sending us to the Hilton Garden Inn, just a little walk away. We were so relieved to have a back up as our children were very much looking forward to using the pool!

We stayed one night on our way to the coast. We chose this hotel because of the reviews. This is a beautiful hotel that is spotless! The beds are really comfortable. The staff are so friendly. Because of Covid, the breakfast was different, standard yogurt, fruit, bagels, and the breakfast hostess will heat you a breakfast burrito. I would suggest you stay on the top floor, our upstairs neighbors came in at midnight and woke us up doing clogging practice. 😉
We will definitely be back to explore Bend Oregon. Great job to the staff at this hotel.

I don’t think so. Agree with the others that the shopping and restaurants that are a short walk away can provide you with the meals you want. Also there is a movie theater there as well.

Hotel is almost 3 years old. Very clean, staff is friendly, price is amazing, pool & hot tub, hot coffee, tea and cocoa (serve yourself 24/7) and ice cold infused water with fruits and sometimes mint leaves if available.
