We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again if in Bend. Our room had so much space with the included living room area that had a couch, fireplace and dining area, plus small fridge and microwave. The bed was comfortable. Everything was very clean. The bathroom was spacious, and it was so nice to have a sink in the bathroom with another sink plus vanity outside the bathroom. The built-in bottles of Dani shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower were very user friendly, and the Dani products there and at both sinks had lovely, subtle scents (spoken by someone who usually prefers unscented). The complimentary craft beer or glass of wine at check in was a nice touch. The breakfast was delicious and filling, and we enjoyed our talks with the kitchen staff all three days as they were extremely friendly and provided wonderful tips about local hikes. The breakfast included delicious local coffee, tea, juices, milk, plain yogurt with homemade berry compote, small sides of granola, homemade breakfast sandwiches, muffins, and scones, among other things. We also really enjoyed sitting out on our patio high over the river each evening after a busy day of exploring, watching all of the paddleboarders and kayakers go by. The nearby bridge with local traffic didn't detract at all from the ambience of the outdoor setting. Our room was nearer the breakfast room than the front desk, so our patio river view was better than those by the front desk end of the hotel. We would recommend this hotel to anyone!

The Pine Ridge Inn is a real gem and we loved every minute of our 5 day stay at this charming hotel. It is located above the Deschutes River so the rooms on the south side have river views. I highly recommend having a room overlooking the river!!!

The beds were heavenly, and the same for the deep bathtub which was just perfect for soaking tired muscles that have been hiking, fishing and exploring al day!! The fireplace made the room so cozy too. Bedding & towels were nice quality and they leave large water bottles in each room & refill them as often as needed. The breakfast buffet was just enough to provide guests with a light meal to get started with our day.

Be on the lookout for the family of deer that come by each day to try an reach the crabapples in the front yard of the hotel!!!

Spacious suite with fireplace and deck overlooking the river— with jogging/walking trail right along both sides of the river (and bridge). You get a welcome drink on arrival— local beer, glass of wine, cider, or non-alcohol options. My friend brought her dog & was pleased to find that they provided dog bedding and bowls, too.

Just average room that needs to be renovated. River views are beautiful. All staff were very friendly and accommodating with the exception of an older gentleman that worked the evening shift. After a day out, we returned to our room which had not been cleaned (our fault). My wife went to the front desk and requested fresh towels. The gentleman on duty acted irritated and like he was doing us a favor to supply towels. When my wife returned to the room, i noticed that instead of bath towels, he had provided floor mats instead of towels. My turn to go to front desk and again request bath towels. Not a great experience as the gentleman behind the desk said that it was my wifes fault that we got bath floor mats instead of towels. After an exchange of words, i finally got clean towels.
Because of the experience mentioned, i will not be returning to Pine Ridge Inn.

Loved this hotel. We got upgraded to the suite and wow what a room. Double balcony, gorgeous views and super large. Bed was so comfortable and the room was so quite. Huge bathroom and plenty of storage space. Has a gas fire too so cold nights will be super cosy. Other rooms looked spacious and hotel was very clean. If I had one thing I would criticise is breakfast. Choice is extremely limited, lady can be a tiny bit abrupt and I feel they would do better doing some deal with the pancake house and not offer or upgrade what they do offer. Staff on reception are very friendly and the free drink was a great touch. Would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I came here to celebrate our anniversary. The night started out well while we enjoyed the complimentary wine and river views. Then the air quality became hazardous overnight as wildfire smoke rolled into the area. My husband woke up having great difficulty breathing. There was an A/C unit in the room letting in a bit of the outside air where the hose connected with the window part of the unit. And when the central air system would turn on, it smelled even smokier. With my husband gasping for breath, I called the front desk to see if they had an air purifier or at least a way to tape over the area where air was coming in through the A/C unit. No response - you cannot get help here after hours. We evacuated. Wildfires are an annual occurrence in Central Oregon - hotels need to adapt and make sure they provide properly filtered central air or air purifiers in the room. I'm very disappointed that staying here for our anniversary harmed my husband's health, and there was no one we could reach after hours for help.

High quality accommodation and good quality coffee both in our room and during breakfast. Nice touch being offered a glass of Oregon wine on checking in. Quiet at night so got a good night's sleep on both nights. Some restaurants are walking distance such as the fun bangers and brews. No servicing of the room during our stay which seems to be an increasing practice in many hotels yet no savings are passed on to the customer. No duty staff at night so unsure of what would happen in an emergency.

Super nice, efficient front desk staff, very large room. The river view rooms have nice terraces but barely have a view of the river, just bits through the trees. Rooms are sort of dated and seem to have been furnished partially by going to Goodwill. Not visibly unclean but I brought a yoga mat and it had some stains from the carpet, possibly pet stains, on it when I rolled it up : /. Seemed a bit like no one was supervising the cleaning staff, curtains were torn, ironing board was missing padding, had only a thin cotton cover. Not a ton of things really close by but 15 minute walk away there were a lot of options. Restaurants close quite early there, so plan ahead.

Usually, I stay with family during my visits to Bend. However, this trip required me to seek accommodation elsewhere. Favoring boutique hotels over chain ones, I looked into my choices and found the Pine Ridge Inn, which had excellent reviews and an ideal location. I was amazed at the size of the room and the amenities. Breakfast consisted of amazing items from a local bakery! If you're looking for a wonderful place to stay in Bend, I highly recommend Pine Ridge Inn.

Beautiful location, friendly & helpful staff. Room was beautifully outfitted, warm & cozy. When we arrived there was a fire going in the fireplace. a carafe of ice water and some cool jazz playing on the TV at a suitably low volume. Guests also get a beer or glass of wine upon check in.
