What a neat place this was, especially after a long drive, rain and sleet we stayed here and everything was quite lovely. The log home is beautiful inside and the breakfast was delicious. Fresh laid eggs, bacon and homemade toast and jam and great stories from the owner Carol, sure to please all. My husband loved the comfy bed which made the drive worth...

Emily served a lovely breakfast every morning an we had dinner with her one of the nights we were there. We had the Elk Stew that was simply to die for!!! I...

We found the problem with the water - a broken pipe :( and the repair has been accomplished! I'm sorry we didn't have the issue taken care of before your stay. Thank you for taking the time to write a review:)

Bedrooms are gigantic. Beautiful log building. Gracious host and wonderful breakfasts. Bathrooms are redone and spacious. Wife commented, the other B&B's we have stayed in in Brookings are bathroom jokes. Like from the 20's. Not here. Several guest gathering areas. This place is great for families or reunions. Will stay here again until we get our Condo outfitted.

A really pleasant place to stay. Good home cooked food, clean rooms, and pleasant company. It's not far off the coast highway, and getting out of the car to open a gate isn't an issue (especially after a long drive.) A place we would definitely want to stay at again. Thank you.

I wish we could have stayed longer. What a treat to find this in the middle of a rain storm. You really feel like you are back in time on a gorgeous property overlooking the river with wild turkeys, cows, chickens and elk around. Our room was huge and so comfortable---so quiet-- in a large custom log home. We loved...

In planning a drive from San Francisco to Portland we relied on Trip Advisor to search out good accommodation. Mt Emily Ranch was a winner for us. Arriving late evening, we had prearranged dinner at the Ranch. Carol consulted fully with us and provided a delicious curry and a decadent desert. A wonderful evening. The accommodation at the Ranch comprised...

Part of this pleasant adventure is driving through the forest to a dirt farm road with wonder of what lay ahead.... and what a sensational surprise! A beautiful, clean, comfortable and roomy lodging. Thank you, Carol for your outstanding detail in decor, story telling, and breakfast offering. We hope to visit again!

This place was obviously fantastic at one time, but it is not any longer. We were not warned about the long, dusty, dirty, bumpy driveway leading to the property. We also had to get out of the car and open a gate and chase cows out of the way. It was very dirty getting into the place, and had bird...

This place is incredible. As you drive up the hill to the Ranch you pass many Apple trees and a lot of cows! The inside of this bed & breakfast is stunning. The all wood and antique decor is so beautiful. The owner is always there and very willing to talk to you on any subject but be sure to...
