My friend and I took a detour driving from North Idaho to So. California and ended up in Burns. We decided on the Silver Spur because of the AAA sign.....big mistake. The guy at the desk said his computer wasn't up to give a AAA discount and the room was $66 for two beds. A few minutes later he said...

I had business in Burns for multiple days and the other newer motels were booked. So, to the Silver Spur I went. The motel is dated and directly adjacent to the highway. Although I observed the majority of traffic lessens as the night progresses. Check in was quick. John the owner was very nice. The room hadn't been updated in...

Spent the night heading home to Idaho on hwy 20. Older Motel with some important technology updates. Cool wall murals and 1969 motif remain. Decent bed, many channels on the wall mount flat screen, nice staff, and warm shower all for a great price.

Nice, clean little motel. We stayed here on the way up to visit family in Washington. The guy at the front desk was friendly... and he had a yellow lab! Cute. The rooms were spacious and clean. The only bad thing is they say there is breakfast, but its basically just cereal, banana, and a coffee haha We went to...

We stopped in after reading the review on this site. Although the hotel is older, the rooms were clean and a good value for the price. A Safe location and cozy rooms. A no frills stop that reminds me of the places our family stayed when I was a kid.

Great value for the price. Good service from the friendly staff. The rooms were clean and the TV had a plethora of channels to choose from. Thin floors had me hearing the people above me. Get an upstairs room if you want quiet. There had been smokers in the rooms - I am smoke sensitive so I know. The towels...

I had spoken with Robert Carlson, the owner, a few times by telephone prior to leaving Corvallis for Burns. He was most helpful then and during my overnight stay. The motel is an easy walk to some restaurants and bars in downtown Burns. It's clean and offers a fortifying complimentary breakfast with coffee in the lobby. The small fridge was...

I'm 67 and this was a trip down memory lane! The pine paneled walls, horse shoe drawer pulls, and western ambiance took me back to Colorado where I grew up and this look was the style. It's really well taken care of and has all the modern amenities, just a neat window in time. I'd recommend it highly!

We stayed at the Silver Spur on the way to Eugene. We were exhausted from driving and had made a reservation the night before. Upon arriving, the owners were very kind and the room was clean and comfortable. The decor was an added bonus. Breakfast was simple, but tasty. And the location was perfect...the town is very quiet at night...

All i have to say is WOW. CLEAN room and affordable too. Free wifi. Microwave and fridge and the cutest dresser with horseshoe handles. Just too cool and I couldn't ask for more for the price, Nice flat screen TV and coffee maker in the room. I travel a LOT for business and i will certainly be back.
