Detailed Reviews
This place couldn't have been better for us. It's just a couple of miles out of town, but in a beautiful green area. They have one horse, 3 steers, 3 dogs and chickens. None of these animals will bother you if you don't like animals, but I love them so enjoyed their presence. Sharon and Judd are very friendly, great cooks and have a beautiful place. I will definitely go back. The price is amazing $ 85. per night.

This was a nice place to stay when taking our daughter to college. We'll stay here whenever we go visit her as we prefer the country atmosphere. They have cows, a horse, and dogs that are very friendly - they do not allow the dogs in the guest rooms so there are no worries of dog hair or anything like that.

The rooms overlook the carefully maintained garden area with an inviting deck (which we didn't have time to enjoy other than to walk through it). The bed was comfortable and each room has it's own bathroom.
The hosts are delightful and they have an easy way to make you feel welcome to come and go as you need. The hosts obviously love the area and are well connected. They could make many suggestions. I am very pleased that the hosts took our dietary restrictions seriously and even as a delightful challenge: plant-based and gluten free. Everything was delicious and it is an advantage of a small place that they will go out of their way to make it work for you.
The rooms are a bit smaller than other B&B's we have visited but very clean and well appointed.

We stayed three nights while visiting family. There are just two rooms. The house is lovely and well-kept and the gardens off the patio so beautiful. You can sit outside in chairs or rockers and enjoy. Do remember that it is there home but the rooms are on one side of the house. There is no actual sitting area for guests but there were chairs in our room. The three breakfasts were fabulous and all different with home made pancakes and muffins with home grown berries. We enjoyed Judd and Sharon. Would definitely return. Room rate was very reasonable.

This is your #1 B&B in Cottage Grove. Their charming little farm is close to Old Town and features beautiful gardens, a calf and chickens (fresh eggs for breakfast!) Judd is an excellent cook for breakfast. They are minutes from I5 down Row River Road. We had a great dinner at Stacey's in Old Town.

The thing to remember here is that you're staying in someone's home. They are very nice people.
It's much easier to bicycle to downtown cottage grove than it it to drive.
We highly recommend the place
