HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 1 week ago via mobile

We were in room 71 which is in the adults only building. The room was clean, the deck and chairs were amazing. We spent a lot time sitting on the deck and watching the ocean. The Jacuzzi tub was wonderful. The bed was very comfortable. We rented a couple of movies and enjoyed just relaxing after a long day of playing....

We broke down in this town and needed to stay the night. We thought the price was good for an unexpected stay. We got to our room and were blown away! It was stunning! We had two bed rooms and bathrooms. A fireplace and small kitchenette. We could see and hear the ocean waves. And the kids loved that the...

The Surfrider Resort has EXCELLENT views of the beach and ocean! I could sit on the porch all day just watching the water. The staff is really friendly! And the restaurant/lounge serve great drinks and food!

We booked this hotel for a night away without our kids & couldn't have been happier! We were on the ground floor (which required walking down a set of stairs - not an issue for us, but might be something to note for others). We did hear noise above us & beside us, but isn't that part of staying in...

We stayed at the Surf rider last week, excellent price. Dog friendly , clean room. Hotel sits on a cliff over looking the ocean. Beautiful view. We had a wonderful lunch. Crab and shrimp. Very fresh. Sunday brunch is a very nice Bruch. For a nice trip to the beach, this is a good place to stay. The Coast Guard...

Had a great time sitting almost on top of the crashing surf below enjoying a dinner in an enormous room with a fireplace. This was a wonderful place to enjoy the best of the coastal action. Probably had the best Internet connection of all the motels we stayed at along the coast (although the complex was lightly booked). Very friendly...

My wife and I spent our anniversary at this hotel. The staff at the front desk were very friendly; they honored our request for a room change so we would not need to climb the stairs. The rooms are outdated, but clean. The room that we stayed in had a working gas fireplace (the only negative about the fireplace is...

Each year around the holidays we have been going to the Surfrider for a couple of days of relaxation. This year was no exception. The rooms are comfortable. The resort is close to a lot of birding areas. The restaurant is sort of plain but the service and food was great. Had dinner there both of the nights of our...

Since this is a large corporation owning this hotel, I was not sure at first about booking there. Years ago, I used to know the owners and we would have dinners, lunches there, but never stayed. I am so glad we did stay for three nights. The room was delightful, the view sensational, and a covered balcony to watch the...

We had always wanted to stay at the Surfrider. I stayed there in 1989 and it was really nice. Sadly, the years have not been kind to this "Clarion resort". While the staff, from registration to the bartender to the waiter were very nice, the room and facilities were in need of updating as well as cleaning. Our room had...
