Know that you are right off the freeway that's a main route for trucks...Our room though was clean, plenty of towels, friendly staff. The pool area was decent and I enjoyed it. No free breakfast, but Denny's right next door.

We have stayed at this Motel 6 in Eugene twice now when traveling to Portland to visit family. Both times we specified that we needed a non-smoking room. Both times we asked after being assigned a room to insure it was a non-smoking room. Both rooms smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. Some no-frills motels manage to keep the non-smoking rooms smoke free. This is not one of those. If this is your one deal-breaker requirement, as it is with us, skip this motel. We stay regularly in very inexpensive no-frills motels. We can live with worn rooms, no amenities, and saggy mattresses for one night, but if you can't keep the smokers from polluting the air, carpets, and furnishings, we'll look elsewhere. This is one motel we won't be returning to.
Two positives worth mentioning:
The motel is a parking lot away from a Denny's so breakfast is easily managed in the morning.
The showers are new and an interesting system I like. There is no tub, but the shower stall feels large and roomy and wet floors are much less of a concern. The stall sits in a corner of the bathroom but rather than being a triangle, the side away from the walls is curved. The shower head is mounted in the center of this curve at the ceiling. This way it is tall enough for the tallest travelers (not an issue for us) and the water stream is pointed into the corner of the stall instead of into the rest of the bathroom. There is also plenty of floor space to move around in and decent shelf space for shower supplies.

I came to Eugene to visit friends for the evening and decided to stay for the night. I booked online and headed over with three friends. The front desk clerk was friendly and checked us in quickly. The hotel is pet friendly, a huge plus, so my chihuahua didn't have to sleep in the car. Room looked recently renovated with new floors and fresh paint. Wasn't anything fancy, but the room quality was MUCH better than I had envisioned it being for an economy chain hotel. Enjoyed our stay. Only downsides were that the floor needed a thorough sweeping and the highway was noisy (no problem, just turned the volume on the TV up). Will definatly stay again.

This Motel property is conveniently located right off of Interstate 5 at the south edge of Eugene where deer can sometimes be seen wandering about in the wooded hills that rise up above the back side of the motel. I’ve stayed here for quite a few nights over the past decade when visiting family members, and I’ve always been greeted with friendly staff at the front desk and given a clean, comfortable room at an affordable rate. This latest stay over Memorial Day weekend was no exception Rashad, the desk clerk who checked me in, was courteous and outgoing, gave me a choice of room location, and clearly described all the available amenities. I’ll definitely be considering another stay here when I come back down to Eugene again.

The owner of this property doubles the price on the weekend. Yea I spent $210 for a room. A room that was clean, smelled of Fabriz, good wifi and ok TV. But where is the microwave, frig, the person who picks up the outside trash? Albany Motel 6 has better TV, is clean and all this stuff. The staff was great.

We were in room 202. Horribly loud highway noise, sound of water running all night in bathroom wall and the fan made such a racket throughout the night. We got almost no sleep! It is right next to I-5 so we expected some highway noise but this was so loud that we each checked to make sure the window wasn’t open! We normally love Motel 6 for its value and convenience but this was the worst one we have ever stayed in. We were so tired from lack of sleep that we had to stop 2 hours shy of our destination the next night and pay for another hotel stay so it would have been cheaper to pay for a more expensive (and quieter) room in Eugene so we could have gotten to our destination on time and without another hotel stay due to exhaustion.

Average price of a single bed throughout the country is around $55. They're charging almost double here for less space and faulty appliances. Their air conditioner leaked water on my floor at 5am right by the electrical outlet powering it, effectively jeopardizing my puppy in his bed. Couldn't walk dogs around property because guests and transients are daily discarding needles in direct site of office, but "off property" according to staff... People next to me got robbed in broad daylight...in front of my vehicle and myself as I was trying to load my animals into my vehicle. Hotel staff condescending when they inspected their faulty equipment instead of being amicable. Absolutely a nightmare of a property. Avoid at all costs!

Traveler beware. Was traveling Labor Day weekend and got stuck between a rock and a hard place for a hotel room. We finally found one and In motel 6 in Eugene. Booked and payed for 2 rooms and drove 3 hours to get there. When we arrived was greeted by hey I was just going to give your rooms away even though they were paid for. After signing in he gave me our keys and said hope you don’t mind but one of the rooms is a smoking room! After a little deliberation he said take it or leave it. Entering the room it felt like a by the hour room. It was damp and musty in both rooms and the smoking room was so bad( I will say he offered me a box fan to put in the window.. the only plus ) In the parking lot were people I’m pretty sure doing drug deals most of the night and early morning! My clothes smelled so bad in the morning it was truly the worst motel/hotel experience I can remember!

Nice and clean dog friendly motel. Room had LVT flooring and no carpet, which is a plus for us. The bed was comfortable. Conveniently located off the freeway and close to downtown Springfield and Eugene. Free wifi. Good budget place to stay. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed ONE night at the Motel 6 in Springfield OR, I'm a bargain hunter, but there are a few things I expect from a hotel no matter how cheep it is. A clock, air conditioning, and a decent shower to name a few. I also don't like having the only window and door on the walk way.
We had to keep our door open to get any air at all.
We moved over to the Shilo Inn and paid $ 5 more per night for about 150 more square feet, a clock radio, shower with tub, and most important WONDERFUL AIR-CONDITIONING!!!! The Shilo also has the attached restaurant and bar, so if you need a glass of milk in the night it's there! The staff at the Shilo were fantastic, friendly, and gracious. The food at the attached Elmer's restaurant was fantastic too! Go there over the Yucky Motel 6.
