My wife and I stayed here for two nights this past weekend. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. The bed had a fitted bottom sheet, which doesn't mean much to me, but my wife said most hotels don't do this and it keeps the sheets from bunching up. There were also five pillows on the bed instead of the standard two or three. The room had a refrigerator and microwave, and a newspaper was left in front of our door each morning. I don't remember a hotel ever giving out a Sunday paper, let alone delivering one to each door. That was a nice touch! A small continental breakfast was included in the office and was nothing fancy, but had enough choices for us.

Only a few negatives: The wallpaper in one corner of the room was warped and loose and needed replacing. The bathroom was clean, but a bit outdated. There were small screw holes still in the walls where the old shower curtain rod and hair dryer used to be hung. The t.v. remote did not have numbers, so you couldn't enter a channel. Instead, you had to press an arrow key to move up or down. Took a while to move through 72 channels. However, these were all minor issues.

At about $80 a night, the Days Inn was cheaper than most comparable hotels in Eugene. The location, a block from U of O and near restaurants and a market, was excellent.

This is not a fancy place, but if you are looking for a clean room at a good price, the Days Inn should meet your needs.

I was surprised to see this review. We get a lot of compliments about our cleanliness and the breakfast. For a continental breakfast, we serve a lot of items. And breakfast is available from 5:30am till 10am. I pay attention to what our guests want, which is why we now include sugar free syrup and honey. We are in need of a remodel which we will begin this winter, however, the rooms are not dingy, the west wing rooms are smaller but newly remodeled, the east room wings are spacious and clean. If a guest lets us know they are dissatisfied, we will do what we can to make them happy. I had a guest that almost didn't stay with us because of that review, then he read all the others. Give us a chance, we care!

Kiah checked me in and was helpful with several questions over a 2-night stay, and Tamara was super friendly during checkout. We didn't get a chance to try to breakfast, but there were some delicious cookies in the lobby one night. The room was quiet and clean, and included all the amenities one might need.

The check-in process was easy and the desk clerk was very friendly and courteous. The location is excellent with coffee & restaurants very close. The room was just ok. The furniture is a bit worn, the walls are very thin and the heater/AC unit was somewhat loud and rattly so it wasn't helpful for drowning out noise from the road. The tissue and toilet paper were absolutely awful; something I'd expect at a one star motel. But overall, the location and customer service made up for the somewhat less than average aspects and I'd probably stay here again.

Dear janewaynem, I am pleased you liked our staff and location. I am sorry to hear you had some issues during your stay with the room being a bit worn and having a loud heater. We are making improvements and are currently replacing some furniture items. I will have maintenance be on the look-out for any loud heaters so we can fix or replace them as needed. Thank you for your feedback. It gives us the opportunity to improve our property. We hope you will stay again. Sincerely, Eryn Organ Brown General Manager

Thank God I didn’t actually stay at this hotel. The couple negative experiences I had were with the very rude girl Keelie (or however you spell her name) at the front who hung up on me, refused to connect me to her manager to get more information and then told me to “have fun with that” when I told her I would be speaking to her manager. I’m pretty easy going and extremely polite. I realize the food and service industries are tough so I don’t cause problems or make waves, but while ignorance can be fixed with knowledge, rudeness is inexcusable. I definitely will NOT be staying here in the future. Train your employees to do better and not cost you future business.

What I didn't like: old dirty carpet and walls in common areas, no restroom or water available in lobby while waiting for our room to be ready, was told we would get an end unit but it was not, bathroom in room smelled like urine even after I mopped it. Freezer in mini fridge-door broken off and stuffed in fridge, so much ice build up that nothing would fit. Noisy.
Good: front desk staff was nice, breakfast not bad. Walking distance to nice trail system.

My son and I went to see the University of Oregon and stayed here 1 night. It was only about 2 short blocks from the entrance to the University so it was super convenient. The staff was lovely, the rooms clean. The rooms had everything we needed, including a fridge/hairdryer/microwave. It was witin walking distance of a pizza place, a 7-11 and a pretty good breakfast restaurant. They offered a continental breakfast, but with a teenager, we went out for a full meal. We loved it and would definitely stay there again!

I love staying here! Whether it's for business or leisure this is my preferred place in Eugene. When you stay here you are in the right place. The campus is across the street, a grocery store on the next corner and fast food/restaurant options all within walking distance. No matter your budget you can't go wrong picking this Days Inn.

The staff is extremely knowledgeable of the area and very accommodating! Little known secret - If you are in town for a campus event you get a NICE discount! Ask for it at the front desk.

When selecting a room if privacy is your aim choose a room around back on the main level with exterior access (the hot tub place is jus across the street).

When booking for a group any of the interior rooms is a great and safe way to travel! (Also if with little kids)

Jus be sure to ask for a room with a fridge to help save on your own food costs!

Just a stopover for the night. We arrived and were told the website we used overbooked the motel, but would it be ok if our room were upgraded to a suite. No brainer here. Room was clean and quiet and Tamara and Kari were both very helpful.
