I've read the bad reviews. We stayed 3 nights (September 13-16, 2016) and it was stellar. Clean rooms, friendly hosts and a cabin like setting in a historic area. I highly recommend Jo's. You can stay closer to Crater Lake if you like to be amongst the crowds. We prefer not to and Ft. Klamath is a very cool small... More

This may be one of the few lodgings for miles around, but rude owners/help and bird poop don't cut it for us. Next time we'll go the extra 35 miles to Lake of the Woods as we've always had great experiences in every way there. These owners really should sell and forget about management anywhere..

We stumbled across this little gem on our road trip. The rooms are very cozy and very clean. The property is beautiful with pretty wildflowers, shared fire pits for guest to enjoy and the river is just behind the building. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a little store with organic foods and good coffee. We are... More

The rooms were quaint and clean. The area is very, very quiet with only a few other structures around. It feels remote but in the best sort of way. Crater Lake is about a half hour drive away. There aren't many places to get food so you are best off bringing your own. But you can get food at Crater... More

I took my 7-year old twins for a quick weekend getaway to CLNP (what a beautiful area!) while my wife had to work. We camped at Mazama Village in the park the first night during a rainstorm, so we were looking forward to showers and an indoor bed for the second night. We arrived at Jo's at about 6pm in... More

The room (room #3) was great, very clean and well heated, which was important since it was extremely cold when I stayed there (Thanksgiving weekend). But the problem was with the innkeepers, which I thought were very stingy: when I checked in on Thanksgiving night, they made a few restaurant suggestions (there are only two restaurants within 15 miles) and... Jo’s Motel may not have been my first choice of a place to stay near Crater Lake, but given that Xanterra has the corner on the few places to stay that are inside of the Crater Lake area, this was a reasonable alternative. Jo’s was certainly the next closest place to stay, and it was only 20 miles of open... More

This is a quaint little motel on highway 62, relatively close to Crater Lake National Park. We stayed there because the lodging inside the park itself was booked. The hotel owners are a quirky but friendly couple who run the motel and their little organic store from 9 am to 7 pm. No check-ins after 7 pm so plan accordingly.... More

Although the cottages were cute, the bed was very uncomfortable. The floor was softer. The pillows are very flat and old. The towels are frayed and stained. Soap is not provided in the cabin and when we asked, we were told that she only had 2 left and if she gives them to us, she won't have any left. Really??... More

The website is misleading as there are no kitchenettes available that are not padlocked closed. The Owners are both Rude and Dishonest. After check out, I received a phone call from Jim, the Owner stating that I had rearranged every piece of furniture in order to bring in our bicycles. Anyone could clearly see them locked together OUTSIDE in the... More
