I so want to love this place - and I do. But it does need some work! Our room was large, pleasant, had a fireplace, a nice deck, and a renovated bathroom. But the furniture was ancient, the carpet needed stretching (perhaps replacing) and the room felt sadly warn. This lodge was built in the '60s. I happen to really...

Goo day, TLJ4, for your comments. We are indeed moving into a resort renovation, beginning with the guestroom decks, railings and everything inside the accommodations, then the lodge. Our new owners are committed to returning this Resort back into its iconic status. You'll be thrilled with what you see and experience.

Really lovely spa with quiet sanctuary spots to enjoy the natural beauty of the Oregon Coast. The treatments were fantastic. The space was warm and beautiful. I love the Northwest architecture, rustic mixed with modern. Love to go back there soon.

My wife an I found a kid free weekend in April and decided a beach trip would be a nice change of pace for us. It had been several years since we made the trip by ourselves without kids and we both came away with the impression that the Oregon coast in general, and this property in particular, deserve more...

It was our fifth trip to Salishan resort and we were looking forward to staying in a clean, fun resort, however we were a bit disappointed this time. With the new management things seem disorganized. For example, our room was not cleaned, our bathroom door was squeaky, the pool area had towels left all over the place, the women's bathroom...

My family stayed here over a weekend during Spring Break. Its roughly 5 miles south of downtown Lincoln City on the Oregon Coast. What a nice resort. Our room had 2 double beds, a gas fireplace and a balcony that overlooked the 18 hole miniature golf course. The course was not the typical mini course, as it had miniature fairways...

This is a favorite family getaway destination! Our favorite part is leaving the balcony door open to let the ocean air in while we cozy up by the fireplace. I love the robe and the Keurig. The pool and jacuzzi is gorgeous. The grounds are clean & beautifully landscaped. We enjoy spending the morning mini golfing and the afternoon at...

My wife and I went to the coast for our first anniversary, and chose to stay at Salishan for their spa and because the property looked nice online. The spa was great, we had a couple's massage and the spa is very nice - although the outdoor coed hot tub was under construction and not available. Check-in time was 4pm,...

Thank you, Brett F, for your candid review. Absolutely, a large group in house the night before should not have been a reason not to have your accommodations ready when stated. With regard to the rooms/decks/construction, we are moving into a full renovation, beginning with the guestroom decks, railings and floor-to-ceiling accommodations. Due to over-growth, we had an arborist at...

The visit was wonderful, but too short. Only one small mishap, and they cheerfully made it right immediately. The bed had been stripped, but more remade. Someone came right away and made the bed while we went to dinner. The food was good, especially breakfast! It was yummy and perfectly seasoned.

I was really looking forward to our stay at Salishan because I had heard how great it was. Maybe I had my hopes set too high. Where do I start? The hotel reservation staff bungled a specific ADA request and then took too long to remedy it, meanwhile leaving my parents in the dark about what the status was. Both...

Lurchie, we appologize that too many service areas were unexceptional during your stay. Over the past 50-years, Salishan has been the icon for which all other Resorts aspired and at this time, we are beginning a renovation which will again add the allure back to the property. Salishan has been a spring break tradition for our family for several years. It's a great family place with good rooms, great activities and beautiful scenery.
