This lodge is awesome, and I couldn't ask for more. Even without a TV in the room, it was a great atmosphere. We went in the off season (late fall-winter), where it is more of a bed and breakfast. Complimentary beer or wine in the...More
We first heard of Tu Tu'Tun from my parents. It was their most favorite place to visit. Dad passed away a couple of years ago and Mom passed last year. So my husband and I decided last year to stay for a couple of days...More
We agree with most of the previous reviews except for a "5" rating. The setting is extremely picturesque, the amenities, both natural and man made, are too numerous to describe here. Please read several of the reviews that follow to get the full flavor of...More
Believe all the positive reviews, Tu Tu Tun is a gem. Here are some highlights from a very long list: excellent morning coffee delivered to the room daily was always on time, fireplace restocked and ready constantly, outdoor Japanese soaking bath on a cool evening,...More

the lodge is on the river, not too far from Gold Beach, we were picked up/dropped off by the jet boat company, you do not have to drive. you are picked up at the pier in front of the lodge.
hope this helps.
I agree with the above answer, no places in Gold Beach are nearly as good as Tu Tu Tun. There are a few good places farther north on the coast - I think one in Bandon is called Redfish or something, if they are open that... More
I agree with the above answer, no places in Gold Beach are nearly as good as Tu Tu Tun. There are a few good places farther north on the coast - I think one in Bandon is called Redfish or something, if they are open that time of year. There is also a good waterfront crab shack place I can't remember the name of, the lodge would know. There may be a few places in Port Orford as well, although Bandon and Port Orford are a bit of a drive. We have always liked getting picnic items in Gold Beach and enjoying them right at Tu Tu Tun. The place is so beautiful it's hard to leave! Enjoy your stay!
