Well the sink in the room was blocked, there was sparks flying from the hairdryer, one bed was dirty and the dogs next door barked constantly. The staff tried to say the bed was just 'stained' not dirty. Definitely in need of some serious repairs all around. Great view and location so you might be lucky with a better room.... More

This is a very basic, worn property. But clean and fully functional. It fronts the beach and we had an ocean view from the second floor room. The beach is beautiful and lightly used and is easily accessible by a short walk across the low dune and sand from the back of the hotel There is an indoor pool and hot... The cottage cheese ceiling had places falling in. The floor needed new carpet or a serious cleaning. The mold on the bathroom window was a destraction of the tile which most of it the grout had fallen out of. The bathroom floor was the same. You can hear any noise ever made as the doors have gaps - maybe that... More

If you want a high end hotel this is not the place for you. But our goal was to be on the beach and we were! We could actually see the Pacific Ocean from our bed! We had a deck outside our room! Older motel but our room was clean and everything was adequate. The view and easy access to... More

This hotel is entirely too expensive. You have to walk down to the beach which is not too bad but it is not close. Almost 200.00 for a room. The toilet seat was broken, the hot tub did not work. This hotel needs a lot of repair work

Along with half of inland Southern Oregon, I escaped the Rogue Valley 110+ heatwave for the weekend! The beach and cooler temps were my destination, with short-notice looking for a pet-friendly room. I was happy to book the Inn of the Beachcomber and not look further, not knowing Gold Beach hotels very well. I agree the rooms are in need-of... More

Unfortunately stayed here 2 nights in a road trip including jet boats. For $170 a night I assumed there would be climate control and decent wifi here. No ac in bungalow units which elevated to a temp of around 90 durning day while out even though outside was only 69. Once seeing the patrons frequenting this hotel there was no... More

This place had a nice view and was mostly clean, but the room was in bad shape. Huge scrapes and gouges in one of the walls, broken shower head, huge hole in the ceiling, to begin with. I wanted to sleep with the window open, but there was no screen. I did it anyway, and just hoped that nothing would... More

Gross! Mold around the bathtub and sewer pipes in the hallway! There was a roach in the room... The roof has tarps all over it from leaks. The ceiling has damage in the room where water has came through from the roof... Sad the place could be really nice but the owners don't take care of it.
