Great location to just park your car on arrival, then spend your time walking, shopping, and eating. Lovely historic building with comfy modern updates. Friendly staff. We stayed during a mild fall weekend; no air conditioning, but we were comfortable with the ceiling fan going...More
This is a really cool old hotel upgraded with modern amenities. In a perfect downtown location, within walking distance of all the cool shops and restaurants. Staff are very friendly and helpful. As with most older buildings you can hear a lot but they have...More

We were there on a Sunday night and didn't need to pay for parking at night. However, we paid the $3 for a permit to put in our window to cover the next morning after 8 am. You can't park on the main street but it was easy finding a place on the street up from the hotel--a very short walk. We loved the restaurant in the hotel and that's where we had dinner. The owner was really nice and it made for an easy place to go after a long day of driving. We later walked up and down the street and there were other nice looking and packed restaurants. Breakfast at the hotel was perfect.
