We stayed in April and the spring blooms were absolutely amazing that time of year especially along the creek and framing the stone bridges! And then the views of the waterfall and the gorge were breathtaking. Our room was comfortable, and clean looking over the river, and the staff was very nice. All of that coupled with easy proximity to Hood River made for a fabulous stay!

Our first time staying and it was great! Did the special of a king room with dinner, wine and roses. Great value. Room was super clean. Staff was great and enjoyed the piano player during dinner. Gardens were beautiful and can't bear the view.

Have always driven by this hotel on our way to Portland. Stayed in adjoining lake view rooms with our family of 4. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Walking around the grounds in the morning was a wonderful start to our day. Our stay lived up to my dreams!!

We were charmed by the vintage ambience, lovely grounds, and stunning views. Our room was clean and comfortable, adequate but nothing special. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming. We look forward to returning in future.
