I found the hotel very quaint and historical. The location is excellent, with a beautiful waterfall vantage point just outside. Noise from I-84 is unfortunately present, but only for activities in front of the hotel. All staff members were extremely helpful and courteous. The business facilities were a bit limited, but adequate. A few minor negatives were that my room...

Thank you for your feedback. I-84 can be a bit much but it allows us to have a convenient location. Our boutique rooms are from the era of 1921 so they are a bit smaller but they do have a great view. Thank you for your feedback about our heaters/air conditioners we will look into the noise level. We do...

Our room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed chilled champagne that was waiting our arrival and rose petals spread out across our bed. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. The waterfall was beautiful and the trails around the hotel were very nice.

This hotel has been restored to a beautiful space. I loved the grounds and the falls right on the property. The rooms are nice size and have private bath. There are 2 floors of rooms and one 1921 elevator which requires an operator. We only needed the elevator to move bags in & out and the staff were most helpful....

Had a very nice brunch with a front row seat to clouds settling onto the river. Service was good but slow for the lack of customers. Food was acceptable, hot and good. Not great but good. Nothing bad to say, but the view was the winner of this meal.

My sister-in-law and I take a trip every year. Being huge fans of the TV show "Grimm", we chose the Columbia Gorge Hotel this year. It exceeded our expectations! This historic hotel is lovely both inside and out. The staff was very friendly and helpful, beginning with Craig who helped us to our room and ending with Rick who shared...

We are so glad you enjoyed your time with us here at the Columbia Gorge Hotel. Grimm was quite an experience and so much fun having all the cast and crew on the hotel grounds . Rick is quite a rock-star himself and we are so glad he was able to inform you and your sister of our history. Thank...

We LOVED our stay at the Columbia Gorge Hotel. It is a very beautiful place inside and out. The concierge, Rick Vaughan, does an AWESOME job of giving tours of the place as well as being very knowledgeable about anything and everything that goes on there. The rooms are very comfortable. We had a view of the river and Wah...

We had long wanted to stay at the historic Columbia Gorge Hotel built in 1921 by Simon Benson. In many ways, not much has changed. The site is still spectacular with its own breath-taking natural waterfall, panoramic views of the Columbia River, lovely landscaping with hand-hewn rock work like the historic highway nearby, and a magnificent fireplace. Our room with...

We are so sorry to hear about your lack-luster experience in Our Restaurant. I understand that Portland does have quite the allure of delicious and creative food and we hope that despite our Historic Venue we are current in all other areas of the hospitality industry! Thank you for our feedback, we are truly always looking for areas of improvement...

Well situated and on a lovely piece of land with its very own waterfall. The room was comfortable and the staff was very helpful and personable. The room itself could benefit from a few more outlets/and or charging ports for electronic devices. Other than that (and the near-constant) rain, our stay was perfect.

We only stayed for one night but will certainly be back. The staff was easy to work with, the room was comfortable and had a great view. The grounds, hallways, lobby, stairwell, and lounge all had a welcoming and elegant feel. We did not eat at the restaurant but had two very good cocktails from the restaurant. Only downside really...
