I am lucky enough to stay at the Columbia Gorge Hotel twice a year for business. I look forward to my stay and enjoy it thoroughly every time. The hotel is historic and all the decor reminds you of a different era. The riverside rooms are my favorite - showing off a beautiful view of the Columbia River. The staff...

Glad to hear our staff was able to deliver and that you enjoyed your meals at Simon's Cliff House and Valentino's Lounge. We hope to host you...

Our trip through the Gorge was finalized with the perfect finish by staying at this outstanding Hotel located right above the Columbia River. If you enjoy old world elegance, sophistication and hospitality, this hotel will fill the bill. My fiancé' had made the arrangements for my birthday. We stayed in the King Room with Riverview and Fireplace. Since it was...

The views are lovely and the rooms are well maintained for a historic hotel. My only hesitation is that improvements should be made to the accuracy of the billing. The couple checking out ahead of us had to point out erroneous charges, and alas upon arrival at home I noticed a >$700 package had been erroneously charged to our bill....

We have just returned from a lovely relaxing trip to Hood River. Our stay at the Columbia Gorge hotel was one of the best highlights of our trip. We had a king corner room that overlooked the river and the grounds with a fireplace and mini fridge. The room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. We delighted in...

We stayed one night at the Columbia Gorge Hotel as a birthday present for my adult daughter. The booking website we used sent me a booking number but failed to send the info to the hotel. Nevertheless, the friendly and good natured staff member took care of us and got us into a room that had a cancellation. This is...

The historical aspect of this hotel coupled with the amazing river and waterfall location would make this an easy 5 star review however the hotel seems to need a boost in love. The rooms need help and certainly some upkeep is needed. Distasteful LED white lights, extension cords, odd fake fireplace, unkept shower unit, almost useless internet as well as...

Dear KansasTravelor86, We are glad to hear that you enjoyed our grounds and onsite waterfall, the Wah Gwin-Gwin Falls (Chinook term for "rushing waters") is quite the spectacle. This hotel was built in the 1920 era and it still retains some of that flair and character. The lobby and dining room are still set in the 20's.
