We enjoyed our stay at this big historic house in a neighborhood setting. The Rose Suite was comfortable, although the bathroom was a little quirky (as you might expect in a historic home). The best part was the location and walkability to the bars and restaurants downtown. We also enjoyed the hosts, breakfasts, and meeting other guests. Some of the...

My husband and I try to choose nice B&Bs and agreed this was one of the worst two we've ever visited. I tried to email the owners a week before visiting and got a delivery failure message. I searched online and found the place was up for sale. Unfortunately it was too late to cancel because of the cancellation charge....

We recently stayed in the Master bedroom. We were not greeted by the inn keepers, but there was a note on the door with our names on it and directions to our room. It stated that we would be met later in the day or the next morning at breakfast. Never saw the owners as they were on vacation. The...

An overall positive experience, but too many negatives weighed on the positive aspects of our visit. From the start, we were not given a room orientation and discovered through a mishap that we had a mini-fridge hidden away in a closet on our second night. We stayed in the Master Bedroom and were disappointed in the quality of the pillows,...

We enjoyed our visit here. The room was ample but crowded in some areas. The bath- room was small and had a wrap around shower curtain over the claw tub. The curtain rod was falling down and needed to be replaced. It was reinforced with duct tape. The throw rugs had dirt and old pieces of smashed in scotch tape...

My wife and I stayed at the inn on June 24. We were in the Cascade Room. It was a great room with a wonderful sitting area, bedroom and bath and a special surprise! The inn keeper, Frank, was very friendly and we had a great breakfast the next morning. Would like to have spent a few more nights!

Inn at the gorge is located a few blocks from downtown hood river shopping/eating/bars etc. The house built in 1908 is beautifully maintained by the inn keepers Frank and Michele. Although the house is old, I didn't have any trouble with my downstairs room (Master) and noise. My room had a mini-refrigerator, shower (no bath), hair dryer, plush towels, television....

The breakfasts each morning were fantastic. The rooms were very comfortable and the public spaces were very tidy and enjoyable. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Made our trip fantastic by having this great place to base all of our adventures from.

The town of Hood River is so adorable, with great restaurants and very friendly people. The B & B owners are also very friendly, serve great breakfasts and attentive to our needs. We enjoyed finding the secret staircase and fold out table (from the wall) in our Cascade suite. Breakfasts were lovely, with fresh local produce and wide in variety--...

We stayed four nights in the Rose Suite upstairs in front. We really enjoyed having two separate rooms to relax and unwind at the end of the day. Window AC kept the room comfortable although temperatures were in the 90s. We did not notice any street noise, but that may be because of the AC unit. The bed was comfortable...

“Bring your own soap and shampoo. We had our own, so no big deal. We found a fan in the closet, it was a little hot at night. Highly recommend this B & B, great staff and beautiful home. Loved having a little kitchen to ourselves, and the Jelly Bellies in the lobby! :)”
