Excellent food service and atmosphere. Homemade pie jam bread soup chili and the steak was good. Definitely a must with prices on target ... even the coffee was offered in a to-go cup. It's about 40 mins from the I-5

Excellent stay here. The "camp house" description had me a little worried and I was prepping the family to be prepared for one step removed from actually camping. They do themselves a disservice on their scant description. The home was lovely; fronted by a nice little lawn and nicely decorated. Three bedrooms for our family of five was a nice...

We loved our overnight stay at this lovely inn. Our room was directly above the river. Pug me right to sleep! Dinner was at a community table, served family style. Fun to talk with the other travelers.

What could be more beautiful than the North Umpqua in September? I don't know. Breakfast was great, dinner was great, service was great, scenery, hiking, cottage....looking forward to coming back in July for my son's wedding.

I wrote a review of this Inn earlier in the month and was so disappointed in the food that after reading the other reviews I hope it was just a bad weekend. I retracted the first review and am putting this one in its place. My wife and I stayed for two nights and both nights we had the $50...

What an idyllic interlude we enjoyed at Steamboat Inn. Our lodging was along the river and included a comfortable patio on which to relax and enjoy the setting amongst the trees, soothed by the sound of the river rushing by. Predinner drinks and appetizers are a pleasant way to meet other travelers; the dinner carried on the camaraderie as we...

We stayed in the Hideaway cottages. Although they are not on the river, they are very cute and cozy and peaceful. This is the third time I have stayed in them. There is a bedroom on the main floor and a loft with a queen size bed as well. There is a tiny kitchen, but complete enough to do any...

While their 'every day' meals are delicious my favorite time to visit is the shoulder season when they host wine dinners with guest chefs and wineries. It's always fun to meet people at the pre-dinner-appetizer-glass-of-wine mingling in the library or during dinner in the main dining area, as you are usually seated with others at long tables. Not only are...

We stopped here looking for a light lunch on route to Crater Lake Lodge. We stopped on the off chance and so glad we did. Best BLT I think I've had & the pie was delicious. If you're in the area you must stop! Service & people were great.

We stayed in cabin #5 for one night during a recent trip through Oregon and Washington. We were very happy with our accommodations. The room was a good size though had the smallest shower we encountered during our travels. The cabins are in the trees above the Umpqua River and the rushing waters lulled us to sleep after our visit...
