My wife and I celebrated our 47th anniversary by traveling to the Wallowa Lake area. On previous visits we stayed at the Wallowa Lake lodge, which is a very nice "old" hotel at the end of the lake. This time we thought we'd stay in the town of Joseph. The Indian lodge motel definitely served our purposes. It is convenient...

Enjoyed our stay in room 4. It's a row of cottages owned by the main hotel. Deer were grazing in our front lawn. Adirondack chairs in front yard and patio tables in private fenced in backyard. Close to everything. Ate at embers - very good food.

Front desk lady was very nice. Our room was very clean and comfortable. I suggest staying here for that reason. The price is reasonable especially if you don't want a rustic cabin by the lake. There is ice machine, pop machine & microwave. They had paper plates, napkins & I think plastic ware which was nice.the bathroom was stocked with nice soaps as for no...

We had room # 3 with a king bed over July 4th weekend. The hotel was very clean with simple furnishings. The through the wall air-conditioning worked great during some higher than normal temperatures for Joseph. The a/c was a little noisy when the compressor cycled on but not too big of a deal. If you like a lot of...

4 nights in a comfortable bed. No Pictures on walls, no towel racks(health issue?), no clothes hooks in bathroom, no shelf for toiletries. When I talked to owner he said it was too much trouble. The facility has the potential to be a great facility but the effort has not been made to make it a great stopping point.

Great motel, very nice people and right on Main St. in the middle of the action!! This motel is old, BUT very clean, and had everything that we needed. Rooms are small, but our room had a very comfortable king size bed!!

There is not much of a selection of places to stay in Joseph, Oregon. So I chose this motel based on location (within walking distance of restaurants and shops). I was not impressed with the photos on the website and you have to call to make the reservation. When I called one of the owners, Scott answered the phone and...

I visited during the spring so there were quite a few vacancies. Office staff was very pleasant and check in was quick. The room was very clean and the bed was nice. Close to the road but I could not hear any traffic noise. The only thing that bothered me a bit was the lack of a dead bolt or...

This old motel was built in the 1950's by Walter Brennan and has been lovingly maintained. The rooms are cozy, the beds are comfortable and it is located in the center of Joseph. The staff were very friendly and welcoming making this a very pleasant place to spend the night.

This little Inn is the only one right in town. Our room had a private 3 piece bath, (no tub & tiny shower stall), plus an extra sink & vanity on the other side of bathroom door. The very strange thing about this was there was not 1 towel rack, crazy! Also, nothing in the shower to place anything on...
