My wife and I needed an overnight stay to pick up our Winnebago the next morning so we chose Guest House Inn. Inexpensive and friendly customer service person at front desk. Very dated place. Bare bones place. Carpets are rolled in places especially in bedroom. The beds are the worst. It’s like sleeping on a piece of plywood. I think it was overpriced for what we got but my wife wanted me to say something nice. The several times we entered lobby no one has been at front desk. When we first arrived no one was at front desk but after several minutes a man came from upstairs. He said he had been cleaning rooms from a very busy day. Conveniently located in Junction City.

My reservation and check in were smooth, and the price reasonable. The room was clean with a HUGE and very comfortable bed and in-room refrigerator and coffee maker. The staff was polite and helpful, and I have NO complaints about this wonderful little motel except for its lack of any laundry facilities or continental breakfast. Those would have earned it 5 stars.

The hotel lobby and hallways have an overwhelming smell of cooking, but once we got into our room we couldn't smell it any longer. The hotel is clean and the desk personnel are friendly and helpful. Room had two queens, nice tv, and was spacious. Beds very comfortable, as were the pillows. Rooms have microwaves and refrigerators. There is free WiFi - but it is verrrrrryyyyy slowww!

We weren’t expecting much. I’m only giving 2 stars because the hotel did let us change rooms the second night. First, the hotel lobby and hallways have an overwhelming smell of cooking. We were given room 110 and it was tolerable but we would have asked to move if they weren’t already full. The bathroom door doesn’t shut/lock. There’s water damage on the bathroom floor. And the tub has been broken around the drain for so long that there are holes, cracks and rust (see pic). It looks like they tried to fix it once. When I risked showering in the morning I did my best to stay away from the drain but there are no anti-slip pieces left on the tub or no mat to put down. All I could think of was that I was risking a trip to the hospital. We couldn’t bathe our toddler. We were moved upstairs and, despite the rock hard beds and stained linens, it was a better experience. I’m just surprised they would have rented that room out at all, much less to a family.

We have been coming here for that last two years...the place is always clean and the owners are very nice...this time I went to make coffee in the morning and there wasn't a coffee pack...no sweat...we love Dutch Brother's coffee...it's just around the corner...so our friends who stayed here with us again...tried to call us...but the in coming call didn't go through...(I feel like I'm on Chopped...so this is why we had to chop you)...hehe...we will be back...this isn't the classics place...there's no continental breakfast...but it's a nice place to lay your tired head...
