Not the first, nor will it be the last time, I choose to stay here. Located only a few blocks from the ocean, and steps from various shops, it's the perfect get-away. I enjoyed even more, the clean & nicely furnished room. But above even that, the staff are amazing. They treated us like family, even remembered previous phone calls...

Amazing place for the money and location couldn't have been better. Coffee and homemade breakfast goodies next door, close to the beach, clean and comfortable, and friendly staff. We had access to free DVD's to borrow and great beds. I'll be back!!

I stayed at the spindrift inn last nite and had a very pleasant time. The inn is an old 40's style motor court, close to the beach and right on the main road. The check in was great, Lorri ( I believe is her name) was super helpful and made sure I got the room that met my needs. The...

I just got back from a five-night stay at the Spindrift Inn. I stayed in Room #1, right behind the office. Not a fancy hotel, but that's a good thing. Clean room, quiet, free parking and best of all, it's right in the middle of the beautiful little town of Manzanita. A block from the beach, an easy walk to...

The beach cabin we have rented for years recently sold and no longer rents to people who want to bring cats. Dogs yes, cats no seems to be the rule for most "pet friendly" places these days. The Spindrift Inn was the only place we could find in Manzanita that would allow us to bring our three cats. These beloved...

Our party of three were fortunate to secure reservations at the Spindrift Inn. Room 16 used to be the Inn Manager's apartment, but now it is a two room rentable unit. There is air conditioning. A good thing too, because the weekend we were there set heat records. The Inn is nicely located to the shore_a short walk to the...

I spent 1 night at the Spindrift Inn (Room 7) in mid-August 2016. This motor motel was built in 1940 as apartments for let by the day or week, and apparently it has had a relatively recent renovation. The lay-out is this: There are TWO doors to the room, the front door that can be accessed from the driveway, and...

The rooms were recently renovated and very clean. Standard TV, mini fridge and phone. The Inn was in a great location. It was a short walk to the beach, about a block. Local restaurants and shops are also within walking distance.

Really enjoyed our stay. Charming rooms. Comfortable and close to the beach. Friendly staff that gave great recommendations. Would absolutely stay there again. Courtyard had great view of mountain. They had a nice selection of books and videos to borrow. Room was clean. Perfect location as it is near restaurants and shops. Yet Manzanita is still a quiet little town...

I'm hesitant to endorse anything in Manzanita, because it used to be a little secret town that the Cannon Beach visitors didn't know about, but not so much anymore. The Spindrift is the best place in Manzanita to stay, if you can get in -- that's why it's usually full in summer!! nice, homey, real close to the beach. Not...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Lovely, quaint, great rooms, inexpensive, a great location, and the people are friendly ... that’s how our guests describe Spindrift Inn. This cozy 14 room cottage-style rural inn is just a block from a 7 mile beach in Manzanita, on Oregon’s gorgeous North Coast. Mountains meet the sea, surrounded by two State Parks, forests and the Pacific Ocean. In our inn you will find no smoking, pillowtop beds, some suites, some kitchenettes, and some pet-friendly rooms (call ahead to be sure). Off the highway, Manzanita’s small commercial district is nestled among cabins and cottages - perfect to park and walkabout. There are shops with trendy clothing, natural food, and several restaurants serving fish en papillote to authentic Mexican. And the connection with Nature is superb ... you can re-fresh, rejuvenate and be re-inspired when you return home. Or stay forever (we did). Come visit us ... then you may say: "Spindrift Inn might not have a lot of street appeal, but thankfully the rooms, cleanliness, staff, location and price were all wonderful. We’ll definitely be back again." Owned and operated by local families since 1946. ... more   less
