Yes, this is a basic motel, but it's a very good one. Our room was very clean, and felt secure and safe. We were in the back section of the motel, far away from street noise and in a quiet area with plenty of parking. The room had all the usual amenities, and a surprising amount of extra space, shelves etc for luggage. The bathroom was very good quality. Overall, we were very pleasantly surprised with this place, and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. There were a few continental breakfast items (wrapped pastries, muffins etc), which were available throughout the day, not just in the morning.

Stayed here on a road trip from SF to Seattle.
We picked it as it was a very reasonable price and all we needed was a comfortable bed for the night.
If you book donā€™t expect luxury or a host of helpful staff on hand to help.
Itā€™s in a decent location and while itā€™s tired we felt the room was clean and comfortable.
There is a Chinese restaurant on site which is owned by motel owner I think.
If you book with reasonable expectations and your eyes open youā€™ll be fine

Small but our room was comfortable and located away from the street. All the rooms are single story so no one is above you. We find that arrangement more peaceful. Large vanity counter area separate from the commode and bathtub. Large bath towels. Flat TV screen. Good accommodations for a budget hotel. Lee is the manager and very helpful. Good Chinese restaurant across the parking lot.

This motel is conveniently located on US101, yet is very quiet thanks to its generous setback from the highway itself. Coupled with the fact that almost all of the motel is single-story, you are likely to have an undisturbed night's sleep. The folks at this motel go the extra mile, making it an especially attractive value for a Rodeway Inn. The refrigerator and microwave were good quality. The internet was excellent. The shower had a removable handle and good flow. The towels and bed linens were of the sort usually found at a more expensive motel. The toiletries included more than the bare-bones soap and shampoo. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The room was very clean. The breakfast offerings included pastries, cereal, and coffee. They even provide free local tide tables. Mr. Lee, the host, is very pleasant. This is an excellent value.

This motel is one of the least comfortable places I've ever stayed. The place is run down, and there are homeless people living on the same block. There's no air conditioning, and the provided fans are very loud, which makes it hard to sleep. I needed to open the window, which didn't feel comfortable given the sketchy parking lot area outside. The motel supposedly provides "breakfast," but it's just bagels and muffins. No fruit or milk or anything else, so we just ate our own breakfast. The front desk attendant wasn't wearing a mask. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 is that the room was clean.

Where to start? Checked in at 1pm, but wasnā€™t allowed into room until 3pm because they were taking their sweet time cleaning. Got charged twice by the manager and was told ā€œthe system will eventually work itā€™s self outā€ and Iā€™ll get refunded the extra charge. Office temperature is around the temperature of the sun. ā€œContinental Breakfastā€ is just wrapped muffins and bagels with nothing else working. Only upside was a $5 discount for booking online.

A wonderful surprise! I always stay at Choice partner motels but usually at Comfort Suites. This motel matches the higher prices motels I have stayed at 50 times this year throughout the USA. It was quiet, attractive, comfortable AND the owner answered many business related questions. He is so knowledgeable about the areaā€”what a super plus!!! So grateful.

Costumer service definitely is slacking. Called the office 6 times on check-in day and no answer.
Bed was topical hotel style.
I tried to go into the office at 7:45am when their ā€œcomplimentary breakfastā€ starts at 7:30am with the door locked and no one around.
Since no one was around to take the key for our check out at 9:30 I had to leave a note.
So donā€™t go there expecting costumer service.

We were pleased to find this place on a Friday night at a cost significantly less than local competitors. Our room was obviously recently updated, clean and filled with thoughtful touches (like an ice cube tray in the little freezer, an extra blanket and lots of drawers). Snacks/breakfast available 24/7. Definitely recommend!

No. It was a dump. Their fancy air conditioning system was 2 fans. Their heating system said fire hazard. Don't put anything within 3 feet of heating system. Stained chairs. I was glad we were in a unit with no chance of anyone stomping above us, but didn't count on the neighboring room being quite stompy. The Chinese restaurant in the parking lot was a nice touch...drunks in and out.

As I mentioned in my review, my room (#149) was at the east side of the large parking lot and far from the noise on 101. Unless someone has ears like a bat or a dog, traffic noise shouldn't be an problem. The room I had didn't have a coffee pot, but did it one better -- a Keurig coffee brewer with six single-serve K-pods. I liked this setup because it avoids the cleanliness issue of those coffee makers with the "brewing basket" that never seem to get clean.

Hello! There are several beaches within walking distance of the Rodeway Inn, however, the best beaches (Otter Crest, Beverly Beach and others) are a little more than five miles to the North. Enjoy your stay! John

If you have little to no luggage, there may be room for a roll away but there would be no room for moving about freely in the room.

I don't know about all, but there was in mine. Hair dryer was pretty crappy though. I brought my own thankfully
