We were pleasantly surprised with this small but cheery economy room. It has been recently modernized with laminate flooring and granite countertops. Beautiful blue and white quilted coverlets made the room so appealing. We saw staff airing out rooms with wide open doors and windows between stays. It is not on the beach but only a short walk down the hill and you’re there. It’s also within 10 minutes walking distance of the some of the Nye Beach restaurants. Speaking of restaurants. It’s a good idea to make reservations at least in August.

Clean and up to date. Would I stay here again? Yes, but only for the night. The rooms don't need AC, (it's the Oregon coast), but they are stuffy, (no air flow). The room has a fan, which works well enough, but the only window faces the parking lot, so privacy is a concern. If you're passing through and staying one night it'll work. Easy walking access to nice restaurants (Georgie's) and the beach.

We needed a room for one night when meeting family at the beach and wanted something not too expensive. We were pleasantly surprised how nicely refurbished and decorated this room was, good bed and good space. We were disappointed that they did not even provide a to go breakfast bag as other hotels are right now. Also the room was very hot (they did provide fans).

I would recommend a garbage can to sleep in compared to this hotel. The staff don’t care for you at all and tell you that it’s your fault the key card reader on the door doesn’t work. Besides being forcibly moved to another room, you won’t be able to get a late check out if you have to stay there for a few extra minutes for a college class. This place does not accommodate anything for their guests. They treated myself and my guest like a pig and didn’t take responsibility for anything that went wrong. If you’re looking to have all your food spoil overnight, come to this place because the fridge doesn’t work.

Stayed here for 3 nights while touring the Oregon coast. The room was very nice with wood floors, an over sized refrigerator (for a motel) , microwave and again, an oversized TV... for a motel. We were in room 207 which was very quiet The staff was friendly and when we requested another set of towel, promptly delivered.
The dual AC/Heater was efficient and quiet run from an easy to understand thermostat. It cycled as needed to heat or cool and the shut down rather than run constantly.
Breakfast was minimal consisting of choices of yogurt, mini muffin, oat meal. Coffee with creamer available as well as hot chocolate. Juice choices were orange and I think orange mango. You have to eat in you room... which by the way had one "lounge" type chair and a desk chair.
We would stay here again.

I loved this hotel! We stayed in a bad hotel before coming here and this one puts it to shame!
I worked as a housekeeping manager so staying in hotels can be difficult for me now, as I can tell when things are much dirtier then they should be. So I’ve become very cautious now and choosing a good place to stay is much harder. But this one is great!
Parking lot is absolutely spotless and so was the room.
We stayed in a king room above the lobby and we have a little balcony we can see the ocean off in the distance. Fridge has both a freezer door and a fridge so it’s separate so it’s nice for road trippers who have lots of cooler foods they are travelling with.
Staff have all been wonderful, we have extended our stay twice now by an extra day as the price is great here and we love it!
This exceeded all expectations we are on a budget honeymoon and this has been perfect if you are on the fence about where to stay this is a good one you can safely book here!

Upon arrival parking lot was empty. I agree with other reviewers that this place is only bearable for one night. I almost just checked out at 2 AM after waking up with hot sweats. The only cooling is a box fan and with window or door open you have no privacy. Smokers congregate near the rooms and you can smell the smoke. TV is small, wrong aspect ratio, no HD. Internet speed is bad. Verizon cell reception is poor to none in room. Location is good, just 8-10 minutes to bay front or Nye Beach.

The service at check in was horrible, the gent was very unfriendly. Room was ok if you prefer to sleep on the floor cause the bed felt unsafe to sleep on.WiFi did not work, A/C would not cool the room.

The room was just ok. Definitely not as described or pictured. I booked this location solely on the fact they had a light breakfast. But they have not had one in 2 years. They need to update the site and description. No fan in the bathroom made the room smell a little wet. However they were very accommodating when I told them I was traveling with a service dog. Check in was a breeze.
They did not Immediately check me out upon leaving even though I requested that. This is my 35th stay at a Wyndham owned/managed hotel in the past 12 months.

This was the best motel we experienced in our 6 day stay in Oregon. Clean, modern, beautifully furnished and had a great smell. We often smell a moldy smell in motels on the coast. This one did not have carpeting but spotless flooring. Everything, including the bathroom was spotless. The management was friendly, and took care of guests in a timely, caring manner. Good parking and close to both beach areas and downtown. The price was less than we payed in other towns which is unusual for Newport. Better motel for less money. Love it!

Not directly from the hotel. However just walk down to the bottom of the hill and there is beach access. It is about a 5 minute walk from our Days Inn.
