After hearing wonderful things about this place from friends with kids, I decided to bring my young child on vacation here. We rented a camping cabin and were not disappointed. The cabin had bunk beds, which made him very happy. We were steps away from the indoor heated pool and spa, which we enjoyed daily as it rained during our...

This is a great location, right across the street from The Pelican Pub, beach with Haystack Rock and a big sand dune to climb. Very nice playground, kids everywhere, loud. If we had brought along a kid, I might have given it a "5". But we didn't. So it was loud and crowded. Our site for our motor home backed...

This was our first outing with our 37' motorhome pulling a car and staying at this RV Park. We booked a little late so we weren't able to get a pull-in site. It was not too bad backing in, but again, it was our first time. The RV'ers across from us were kind enough to move their vehicle to make...

Nice large park with grass areas between sites. Lots of wild bunnies. We walked across the street to Pelican Pub & Brewing Co. and watched the surfers in front of Haystack Rock. Also good surf for boogie boarding and walking the beach with dogs. Rentals available for sand surfing down the largest sand dune around. Be sure to do a...

We called and made reservations to tent camp. They said they were right on the beach. They are across the street from the beach, but not from around the area we thought we would be ON the beach. That was ok, just had to cross the street. We were there in the summer but on a week day, so thought...

Other members of my family have been staying here for a # of years & we had to come try it out. Here's the short review from my 10 year old daughter: IT ROCKS! Here's what we loved: the spot we had was an RV spot on the perimeter so we had a bit of extra space & even though...

After reading the good reviews we were disappointed in our stay primarily due to issue with the showers. Of the 2 different facilities of 3 showers per, we could only get hot water out of 2 showers. 2 showers didnt work at all. You are in a great location in relation to haystack rock. There are tons of rabbits hopping...

This was the second time we have atayed at this park so that we could be near Cape Kiwanda Beach to watch the Dories come in, to eat at the Brewery across the street and to have some Dory caught Ling Cod at the tavern in town. The campground is crowded with sites close together and many permanent Trailors and...

My wife and I just completed a road trip with our travel trailer along the Oregon coast and into California. This was our second stop. We spent 1 night here. Location was great, it's easy to find, and there's lots of room at the registration entrance. We were within walking distance of the beach, Cape Kiwanda State Natural Area, and...

Stayed in a camping cabin for the weekend. Cabin is correct, no plumbing here - however, our cabin was just steps from the restroom/showers. The cabin had a set of bunk beds and a log full-size futon. The cabin has an electric heater, tiny TV, small 'fridge, and a microwave. The porch has a comfy porch swing! There's also a...

“We had the cabin on the end I believe #75. It was the closest to the road. The Pelican restaurant is right across the street just a few steps from the ocean. Check out their website. You can watch surfers or go surfing yourself. There is a shop that rents equipment near by.”
