I can see why the reviews were so good. Pretty nondescript from the outside but the rooms were very clean & good sized. A little lacking in color but the view out the window of the ocean made up for it - unless someone parked in front of your room! Nice hosts. Quite pleased overall.

My adult son and I were sight seeing the Pacific Highway while he was on summer break from law school. No itenerary, just sight seeing. We happened upon this place in late afternoon and pulled in. The owner was a very nice lady and obviously took a lot of pride in upkeep and cleanliness. The beds were comfotable. The ocean...

We were very happy with our stay at the battle rock hotel in Port Orford. Great location, beautiful view and most importantly very clean. The lady who runs the place is very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended to anyone on a budget!

Great place to stay just across the street from Battle Rock and a great walking beach. A large room at a good price. Excellent WiFi. The room was very clean and the land lady was very friendly and helpful. Microwave, fridge, coffee machine and lots of TV channels.

During a northbound Pacific coast odyssey, we found ourselves tired and in search of immediate accomodation. "The first place we see; we stop". We rounded a bend and there was the Battle Creek Motel with a lit 'vacancy' sign. We pulled in around 8:30ish and snagged the last room. Yew! Shower. Bed. TV. That's all we needed and that's what...

This hotel is very accommodating and convenient to downtown Port Orford & the Harbor. The owner was very friendly, rooms quite clean and bed comfortable. I particularly liked the strong & hot shower! I would definitely stay here again.

Rooms not large, looked as if fairly recently remodeled. For sure bathroom completely remodeled --grab bars by toilet, in shower. Check for size of bed. Has fridge, microwave. No breakfast. Cafe next door. Nice dinning ($$$) with spectacular view right across the highway.

Very clean and comfortable. 2 queen beds. Microwave and nice fridge. Flat screen tv. View of ocean across street is spectacular. Owner very accommodating. Room was very quiet. No ice machine. Ate at Red fish restaurant right across the street. Pricy but very nice. Didn't expect this in Port Orford. Salmon dinner excellent.

Interestingly to the weary traveler, there are small motels that are not part of any large chain, like this motel that are wonderful gems. The owner/host keeps the place sparkling. Our room was perfect for a family because there were two rooms joined together, one with 2 twin beds, the other with a queen sized bed. Very comfortable. Price was...

Tiny room with a tinier bath. Microwave and tiny refir included. Refir had no shelf and door bar that would hold drinks in was broken. No ice machine on grounds. Flat screen with Dish. Clean, in good shape. Across from beach and Battle Rock Park. Good manager.
