We spent our 1st night of a week long Oregon visit at this Marriott. After flying across the country, we were wiped out and the staff here was welcoming, friendly and efficient at taking care of our needs. We especially appreciated one of the valets, Colman. He was extremely helpful in not only taking care of our rental, but he...

We visited Portland the week after Labor Day. My niece who attended Lewis and Clark University, recommended we stay here and she was spot on. The hotel is basically in the business and transportation center of the city and a convenient walk to most things on this side of the river including Powell books and the hordes of micro breweries....

The hotel is nothing to write home about, just classic furniture and decorations. The location is excellent however right in the center of Portland. You have absolutely everything within walking distance - restaurants, bars, shops, museums, parks, and of course Portland's famous bookshops. Combined with this, the rates are usually excellent at this hotel for a place so central. The...

Thank you for writing this review. The information that you have given us is so important. Yes, our property is right in the center of all the city action and I am so happy to learn that you recognize this as well. I also read that you found a razor blade on the floor in your room. I just wanted...

I had a very satisfactory stay at this hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and easy to deal with. Because I have Marriott Gold status I was booked in a top floor room with access to the club lounge. The room was small but very clean, with a pretty view of the downtown area. While the club lounge was open...

No faults were found with this hotel. Check-in and out were quick. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. I left my fleece in the lobby after check-out and realized it half-way to the airport. Called the front desk and gentleman who answered phone found and it and put it away for safe keeping. Crystal from housekeeping was kind enough...

The hotel is located in the heart of downtown and is a short walk to most sights, restaurants and shops. The overall appearance of the hotel is very nice, from the lobby to the rooms themselves. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. The only things that keep me from rating it higher is the bed and bathroom. The beds...

The hotel is decent, the staff is wonderful, but no wifi or continental breakfast. It just amazes me. I've spent less i. bigger cities (similar times of the year) with both provided. I don't expect much but that is something that should just be mandatory.....

Very nice hotel - quiet, clean and friendly staff. Our check in was efficient and without incident. They have a computer in the lobby for use, but the Wi-Fi is ridiculously priced, as is overnight parking (even by large city standards). The room at this 3 1/2 star hotel was comparable to many of the 4-star Portland hotels at which I've stayed, minus the personality. The location is fantastic and centrally located.
