The location is about the only pro. I am not sure how they have such good reviews. They are remodeling/painting or whatever and the workers are banging until almost midnight. I called front desk and was dismissed saying they would investigate what was the noise. Shouldn't they know? My husband had to go to the front desk to inquire about...

As always, our stay at the Modera was a pleasure. The staff, in general, were friendly and accommodating. Our room was nicely prepared for our stay with two complimentary small bottles of wine and wine glasses set up for our enjoyment.

I normally stay at a hotel chain since I'm a rewards member, but all my friends were staying at Hotel Modera, so I figured it would be easier if we all stayed at the same place. Luckily, there was a Groupon being offered for this hotel. A Premier City View King Room starting at $99 per night depending on the...

What a gem! The room was fantastic. stayed here for 3 nights.walking distance to pioneer square which is great for shopping. Quick uber or lyft anywhere. We hit the bar/restaurant on our last night and order the calamari which was spot on. Thank you a pleasant stay!

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We were able to check in a bit early thanks to Edwin, he was welcoming and helpful. Kahn, the valet, was very pleasant. Great with recommendations for a chill atmosphere, which is exactly what we found. Madison was accommodating and professional when handling an unexpected repair in our room. She made it...

My friend and I booked a king bed for the first weekend in February. After we checked in, we saw that our bed was more like the size of a queen. I went down to the front desk to inquire and was brusquely told that it was a hotel king. I emailed hotel management that their website states that it...

Hotel is nice and clean. Madison answered all our questions and was great at making sure we were taken care of. Kahn was also amazing and had great recommendations for places to eat and things to do. Bartender with the beard was unfriendly but overall the stay was a great experience!

The hotel is a completely remodeled and updated motor hotel dating from (at least) the 1980's. I know, because I last stayed at the building 25 years ago. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable with nice amenities (TV, room bar, toiletries, etc.) The location is great, near the major cultural sites (Portland Art Museum, Schnitzer Auditiorium, etc.) and...

I have stayed at Hotel Modera 3 times in the last two years. This place is a GEM!!! I love it's retro/modern vibe. The staff there are incredibly friendly and helpful. They are the gold standard for extraordinary customer service. Tyler, Brennan, and Scarlett went above and beyond in answering my questions and helping out. I needed some flyers copied...

I was excited to visit this hotel, but wasnt blown away like I thought I was going to be per the pictures and reviews. The lobby is pretty and contemporary, but the the hallways where the rooms are need updated. My floor had torn/stained carpet and some walls that looked like they needed a good paint job. The room was...
