My husband and I booked one night in a suite at the Woodlark for a little anniversary staycation. This hotel is incredibly beautiful and in an excellent location downtown. Very central and easy access to public transit. The staff at the desk were very nice and attentive, greeted us each time we were coming and going, and even offered a mini bar comp to help us celebrate our anniversary. The room itself was large, with gorgeous high ceilings and very thoughtfully designed. We went back and forth between booking the the Woodlark Suite or the Loft Suite, and ultimately went with the Woodlark Suite because it had a nice large soaking tub (because this girl loves a bubble bath on vacation). There was a spacious closet with a small dresser, a living room, separate bedroom with pocket doors and a large bathroom with huge shower, dual vanities and separate soaking tub. We didn’t take advantage of the on-site dining, but we did enjoy morning coffees from Good downstairs, which can never go wrong because they always have excellent coffee and great service. Overall, the suite and our one night stay were great and we would stay here again, but there were a few cons that contribute to my 4 star review instead of a 5 star: -Construction noise. We were woken up at 7am to the sound of construction next door, where there is a new hotel being built. I feel like the price of the room should be reduced for this inconvenience. I used to live downtown so I get the noise is unavoidable, but when I’m paying essentially the equivalent of one months rent of my first apartment for one night, I expect to be able to sleep in a little. We could have closed the pocket doors, but then there would be no AC/air flow (see below) -AC is inefficient. The suite we were in had the AC unit in the ceiling where the hallway connects to the living room. This cools the main living areas very well, but the design of the bedroom means there’s nothing pushing the air into the bedroom. You have to keep the pocket doors open or else the bedroom gets too hot. Even with the door open, there was a noticeable temperature difference between the spaces. -Cleaning could be a bit better. Our room overall seemed clean, but appears to miss the “accredited cleaning” mark they brag about on their website. There were just some small things that made us feel like the cleaning was rushed-hairs left on the bathroom floor, dust collection in the headboard and on the nightstands, and there was some some small pieces of trash left in the room. As I stated before, we still loved our stay and would absolutely stay here again. I think next time we would request a different suite on the east side of the hotel away from the construction noise.

This hotel is so beautifully decorated. The ambiance is perfect. Exquisitely clean and all top notch decor and fixtures blew us away. We loved the lobby, hotel bar and our room. All so gorgeous and unique. The front desk staff was so helpful with all of our questions and they provide a texting service for any additional questions which really came in hand! We would highly recommend Woodlark!

Such a delightful experience the rooms are spotless cleaner than any place I’ve ever stayed before well designed tastefully laid out. Beautiful view of the city And within proximity to Local restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. Being on a solo trip as a female sometimes the homeless population can be slightly intimidating thankfully not only was the hotel well lit and easy to find But the concierge / front attendant was at their station the entire time not once was there a lack of the hotel staff/ personnel. Truly a great experience will be returning soon! compliments to The entire staff ,housekeeping ,front desk ,management bar ,kitchen, everyone all of you truly are passionate about what you do and it shows thank you for A perfect and well needed daycation!
