We stayed in the "studio" for 2 nights. The home is a beautiful old mansion. There is no "host" on site, the directions for how to enter and find our room were perfect. The parking area is more than adequate. We found the public areas comfortable and spent time reading in the evening and chatting with other guests at breakfast....

We booked and spoke to the in keeper and confirmed our reservation. Very easy. Cottage was more than expected. Well furnished and nice and quiet. Easy access to parking and close to everything we had planned for the 4 days we were in town. Highly recommend.

I am a fairly picky guest but loved Evermore Guesthouse!! The house is beautiful. I stayed in the second floor suite and it was much bigger and nicer than the website photos showed. Nice big and clean bathroom. Lots of friendly touches. I will mention that it's a fairly low touch customer service situation - they keep the food stocked...

As part of my friends birthday celebration we stayed at the Evermore Guesthouse. It was the perfect location for us as we had tickets to a show at a nearby theater. Not for those who need a lot of attention...pretty self service. The self service breakfast area was very well set up and great for us as we are not...

We stayed in the 3rd floor suite which was very spacious. It had a comfy king-sized bed with modern bedding. The bathroom was large and had a huge two-person shower. The house itself is beautifully appointed with an antique feel and spotlessly clean. Very cozy. Keep in mind this is not a B&B, so don't expect the owners to be...

We stayed at the Evermore Guesthouse for 4 nights recently and couldn't have been happier. This place is a gem and will be our go to place to stay while in Portland. Loved that you get a code for the front door to check yourself in and out. The room was huge with a beautiful 2nd story balcony with seating....

Stayed here for 2 nights. We reserved the studio apt on the first floor. Had our own entrance. Parking was great. Plenty of room for everyone to park off the street. Liked the set up for breakfast, but the over ripe bananas were a bit much. I didn't mind at all that we didn't sit down with a table full...

The Evermore Guesthouse is just that: ever & more a guest house. The accommodations are all that other reviewers have noted...spacious, inviting, full of character. It smells like it's been around since 1909...a 'character' smell, not a show stopper. You will enjoy the surroundings, and even more at 'evermore' you will feel like a welcome guest. Our room was ready...

This old house was built in 1909 and retains many of its original lovely features. I love the inlaid wooden floors, the extensive old woodwork on walls and ceilings and the architecture generally. Does this old lady show signs of age? Definitely, but this only adds to her charm. I recall reading in some of the reviews that people were...

We stayed 2 nights at Evermore in the second floor bay windows room. It is described as small on the website, but is actually very spacious. The house itself is beautiful, maintained very nicely. It is very self-serve - we only saw guests during our stay. It is close to the SE Hawthorne area, which is a great place to...
