This was our first visit to this HIE and we were not disappointed. From check in to check out, it was a good experience. The hotel is well maintained. I just read that one reviewer has stayed at this HIE for 10 years. That surprised me because it looks almost new. The hotel and our room was spotlessly clean. The...

I was telling my friends that I really lucked out by finding this hotel. It's located in a very convenient location close to downtown, and in a vibrant area. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. A nice perk is that there is no charge for parking vs the $40+ per night you find at other hotels only a few blocks...

Free Parking at hotels in the downtown area are difficult to find and we are happy that you found us! The freeway convenience and trendy 23rd/Nob Hill area are filled with restaurants shopping are a bonus for the area. We hope you will join us again soon when your travels bring you to Portland.

Folks, We've been staying at this particular HEI for over 10 years now and everything remains well managed from year to year. Yes, the elevator seems to be the slowest in the country, but once you get your luggage upstairs one seems motivated to get some exercise and take the stairs rather than wait for the lift. Staff is always...

Our room was comfortable and the beds were cozy. The room has a coffee maker and there is the usual breakfast downstairs. There is also a pool and hot tub, which were nice after driving all day. Free parking and easy access off the highway. Easy to miss narrow entrance to parking lot it is directly in front of the...

We stayed 2 night at this hotel. It's in perfect location close to everything - attractions, highways, great food on 23rd NW street. It provides free parking which could be costly in Portland. Otherwise - very overpriced hotel even for the area of Portland.

Let's start with the positives: The staff members were friendly, polite, and attentive to our needs! The location of the hotel is close to downtown Portland, however, a cab ride is necessary (The cab was VERY quick with picking us up). Parking was free, which is a plus in a city. The room itself was clean...no problem there. Now, some...

The reason I wouldn't give this property 5 stars is because rooms on the first 3 floors that are even numbered get a building as their view. I was staying for 3 nights and asked for a room change. They were very accommodating and I was put in a room with a view of the bridges. Noisy, but a nice...

The facility is clean, rooms spacious, wifi is free, the room has a Keurig for coffee and local establishments worth a visit are a block or two away. The free breakfast was nothing to write home about, but the selection was good- yogurt, cereal, eggs, bacon, baked stuff, juice. I found the staff to be courteous and helpful. The location...

Spent an evening on business travel. Free parking. No crime or other threats that I could see and I walked outside near dark. Clean, comfortable rooms,. Microwave, Kuerig machine and refrigerator in rooms. Fast check in and staff did a small favor that they did not have to (excellent customer service attitude). Much better value than hotels right downtown and...
