Loved the location and the amenities for a mid-priced independent hotel in downtown Portland. The rooms were fine, the gym was a nice feature and staff was friendly without being over bearing. Lots of areas in the lobby to sit away from the doorway and talk, read, etc.

We stayed for 3 nights and got the pleasure of listening to toilets flushing all night long. Nothing like laying in bed and having a flushing toilet and water running overhead. I won't recommend the 7th floor.
