We stayed here after a long flight into Portland from the East Coast. It was clean, well lit and felt safe. The staff was friendly and helpful. :) We would stay again! We basically checked in, ate some pizza and then went to sleep, got...More
Nordic Inn was very clean and safe and the room a good size. I rather enjoyed my stay here. Not fancy or too expensive for the stay. Not far from downtown or the airport. Read the reviews because they're accurate. Welcoming staff here nice. Great...More
My mom and I checked in here for one night. The first room we had was good except the tv wouldn’t turn on so we were quickly switched into another room which ended up being an upgrade because it had two TVs and a kitchenette....More
Our stay in Portland was restricted a little by snowfalls limiting our planned activities, however our room was warm, clean and comfortable. Certainly a budget friendly place but that's cool! Easy place to find. A very good coffee vendor directly across the street too
The staff were friendly and polite. The rooms were very clean and updated. We needed a nice place to stay that wasn’t in the heart of downtown and this place did the trick! Would definitely stay here again!

When I was at the Nordic Inn and Suites, 15 March/16 March, there was no shuttle from the airport. The desk clerk recommended Uber as a means of transportation/ which I hadn't applied for ahead of time. When I first arrived, and inquired with airport Information, a kiosk alongside baggage claim, the ladies looked up Nordic, and informed me no shuttle/ I would need to get a taxi. Beware! The Nordic is TWENTY MINUTES away, and the airport cabbies are reluctant to give you a lift because of the SHORT distance! If they do give you a lift, beware! you'll more than likely get ripped off! The THIRD cabbie that finally said he'd take me to the Nordic, started the meter at $7 .. and, grumbled the entire way about the other cabbies not wanting to take people the short distance! Also, be aware that the Light Rail is about a mile from the Nordic.
