A great place for less money for a buddy and I to stay. We didn't need a lot of extras. A clean room, convenient location and a decent mattress. The Palms Motel accomplished this. If you're ok with simple clean and basic, the best bang for the buck!

I had to find a hotel quickly near the hospital my father had been taken to, so I wasn't as thorough as usual, and a quick search turned up this place. After my plane landed, I found I would only need the room for one night, as my father was being released, and doesn't live in Portland. I tried to...

During a recent trip my brother booked us into Palms Motel. The pictures I viewed on line were sketchy (to say the least). When my mother and I arrived we were even more unsure, so we decided not to stay. My brother on the other hand decided he would when he arrived after us. During is his stay (convenient location...

This place is the worst place I have ever seen! Nothing like the pictures. There was hair all over the shower, the walls are stained with god only knows what! Hair in the beds, and I would not touch the carpet and if I had a dog I wouldn't have let it walk on it! There was mold in the...

I wasn't expecting too much because of how cheap it was, but it actually wasn't bad. We got the king non-smoking suite. The room smelled good and it was clean, there weren't very loud neighbors, and there was a menu for restaurants that deliver (which was great because we got in pretty late). The owner was very accommodating and agreed...

I needed a place where I could get two rooms next to each other for a one night stay. Did not want to spend too much so decided on this place. Read reviews so was not too shocked by what I found. The decor is definitely dated and could use some up-dating. The small refrigerator in my room made so...

We booked 2 nights here on our road trip, knowing we'd want to hang in Portland for a couple days. It's okay; says a lot that out of nearly 20 motels on our trip, this was the only one that insisted on holding a deposit on my credit card (refunded upon room check by the maid after we check out)....

This property is run down and dirty. It is located near the transit system and the sign is cool. However those items don't make for a nice stay. The carpet was ripped and the chair kept gettting hung up on it. The shower curtain had so much mold I had to peel it apart. It was just a crappy place...

This hotel is basically a dive in a convenient location. Pay a bit more and get another hotel. The overall room is worn out. The good part is that the wifi worked. I should have reviewed trip advisor before I booked.

I originally had a reservation here last month and when I checked in I opened the door to 'my' room to find a very pissed off couple who already were in the room. With no apology, the clerk (who I had to call because the office was locked and unattended) just shrugged it off and told me he had no...
