This hotel was by far the best we have ever stayed in, and we travel often. The hotel is gorgeous, clean, and they were overly cautious with covid protocol. The staff was extremely courteous and attentive to our every need! Would highly recommend choosing The Sentinel for your Portland Travels!!!!

Exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff was very friendly, engaged and obliging. The room was comfortable (especially the bed!) and had all of the amenities I could have wanted. The rooftop terrace was great for sitting by the fire in breaks between the rain (it is Portland).

My husband and I spent the night for our Anniversary. We were a little hesitant with all the bad press Portland has been getting but we were treated amazingly at The Sentinel. Niki at the front desk was exceptional at customer service. The TVs were down and he found us and reserved a spot at an outside location for us to watch the duck game. When we returned he had a bottle of champagne waiting on ice! He had upgraded us to the Anniversary suite and just took care of us! We haven't had that kind of service in a long time! This past year has been a challenging one but Niki made a great start for us in 2022!

After driving 12 hours overnight we had to make an unexpected stop in Portland to take our dog to an emergency vet. From the very first phone call to check out the staff at the Sentinel went above and beyond to take care of us. They were so kind and considerate, doing everything they could to make sure we were comfortable. The Sentinel became our home away from home during a very stressful time. We will never stay anywhere else in Portland!

Staff was polite, helpful and ready to accommodate my request with a positive attitude from everybody, kinda rare these days. The restaurant was open for take out and was delicious. Scallops were cooked perfectly and the crab was sweet and fresh. Hotel was masked up and is taking it seriously.
