My wife and I stayed here for the first two nights of our honeymoon and again for our first anniversary. We are Portland locals and recommend this hotel as our first choice for any out of town friends visiting the area that want a Portland experience with top notch amenity. The decor is a fresh blend of traditional old/school hotel...

The room/ terrace were amazing, helpful staff, easy access to nearly everywhere downtown, quality free snacks and drinks available in the common area. However, the fireplace is very noisy when it's windy.

I loved this hotel! Prime location for dining and shopping, accommodating staff, quality service, great local partnerships and amenities. The rooms were very spacious, with a really cool eclectic vibe that lends itself to an old school gentlemen's library bar feel. The decor was funky and speaks to the Portland scene outside. Would definitely recommend!

If you want something in the heart of Portland this is your place. I stayed here only one night because of my quick turn around trip, however, it's very central and walking distance to many places. I highly recommend this place and will consider staying here in the future.

Front desk staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The room wasn't ready so they gave us a ticket for a complimentary drink at the amazingly beautiful and cozy bar. The room...

The Sentinel has become my new favorite Portland hotel! The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms are large, spacious, and decorated beautifully! The location can't be beat! Walking distance to downtown and the pearl. Easy to grab the street car as well. I highly recommend!

Nicely updated with many designer touches from the lobby into the rooms. Wonderful cotton sheets, towels and robes. Exceptional service from everyone. Great location; easy access to all the main and exciting districts.

A beautiful old hotel. Several ballrooms rooms you can rent for events. We had a wedding and rented several rooms on different floors, one for the service, one for the reception, one for drinks, etc. They have catering for those events as well. The hotel rooms are nice and they have a variety of views and sizes to chose from....

The Sentinel provided excellent customer service from making reservations through the sales office, the valet greeting & the friendly front desk staff. We are local residents and were attending an event hosted at the Sentinel. So, we decided to stay over night and treat ourselves to one of the 6th floor suites overlooking the downtown Portland skyline with a private...
