Before I moved to OREGON I stayed at the Portland White House to experience the historical charm of this B&B and the neighborhood. Now that I live in Oregon I make it a point to return often! Every one of my visits has been excellent...so much so we hosted a special event and the host owner went beyond our expectations!

As a one-night extension to a week's stay at Mt. Hood, we splurged on a B&B stay in Portland instead of near the airport. Gorgeous homes in a historic district, enjoyed walking the neighborhood; this is an elegant, restored 1911 mansion. We were welcomed graciously, accommodations were comfortable and quiet, antiques and collectibles were everywhere and lovely. Gorgeous dining room...

On our latest trip out west, we stayed at Portland's White House for 3 nights. Our room was great and the breakfast very good, but what we liked the best was the location. The house is situated in a quiet neighborhood (a short drive to downtown Portland), but within walking distance of some very nice restaurants. The staff had suggestions...

This place was recommended to us It was clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The location is in an older neighborhood. The bed was soft and the breakfasts were pretty blah compared to other B&Bs we have stayed at in the past. There are nine rooms to choose from.

Had a great stay for two nights in the Blarney Room. Many other reviewers commented on the room size being small, we thought it was great. Actually, it had the easiest places for storing luggage and still moving around in the room. Will stay here again and in the same room! The meals where wonderful and their gluten-free accommodations for...

Our group of 13 took over the entire B&B save for one room. Lanning and Myra took great care of us. Breakfasts were phenomenal, especially the fried chicken and waffles! Delicious! The accommodations were uniformly delightful for all guests. We all enjoyed walking the historic neighborhood with beautiful homes. Broadway and shops, restaurants and even a great wine store and...

Where do I begin? Let's start with the staff and owners. They are incredibly friendly, helpful, and were key in making our trip as enjoyable and stress free as possible. They embody the spirit of the people of Oregon. The bed and breakfast is just beautiful and you can tell that over time, a lot of love has gone into...

Room We stayed in the Canopy Suite, which can accommodate 3 people. It was comfortable and roomy, the bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows, and good temperature controls. The room and the neighborhood was very quiet, I slept really well. The bathroom had plenty of space for all of our toiletries. BONUS: it's a Pokestop, I was able to...

I was blessed to be invited to a wedding held at the inn and got my booking in early so stayed over for two nights. Myra greeted us at the door with a huge smile which set the scene for the weekend. Amid all the chaos of last minute changes, the wedding rehearsal, breakfast, the wedding, setting up, catering etc...

Stunning setting for a wedding - the White House is a historical mansion beautifully decorated. The owners are extremely welcoming and you immediately feel at home ! Breakfast was extremely delicious and served in the main dining room. We all had a wonderful weekend :-)
