First of all this hotel is located in a tricky place to find and way TOO close to Interstate 5 (which is always busy thus lots of traffic noise including all night long.) You can see this place from the expressway but can not get...More

I stayed here with my family for one night on a road trip through Oregon. Rooms were spacious. Bathrooms were very clean. Staff was friendly. Buffet breakfast is served complimentary. Overall, a good experience.

The yellow line (expo center) using max rail takes you into downtown Portland where you can transfer to other lines if needed. Convenient, inexpensive way to get around in a city with lots of traffic, especially during rush hour. I found getting to the actual Expo transit stop from the hotel to be a bit confusing (paved walking path, then cross a major freeway pass with a cross walk) but once you figure it out, it is fine. Better directions from the front desk would help. Check the Portland max rail line maps on line. You will see how the lines intersect and can check rates. Some kiosks take paper money/coins, others only take charge cards.

Thank you for enquiring about the Fairfield Inn and Suites North Harbour. The walking path to the light rail is very well lit in most areas. the first 100 yards of the path coming from the hotel doesn't have any lighting except for the hotel lights facing it.
Please let me know if there is anything else we can do for you.
