Price. The price is the only reason to stay here. The facility is worn to the extreme. The sidewalks and stairways are filthy. The elevator smells. The “breakfast” consists of coffee and some tired muffins. The motel gives the impression that the owner is making...More
Extremely convenient-to-transit-and-airport, competitively priced, budget motel managed by "mom n' sisters" (can't say "mom n' pop," as there's no "pop" on the team here) BUT, unfortunately, no longer safe for children or for the not-too-brawny solo woman traveler.
While the sisterly-camaraderie still exists in hotel...More
The hotel is average for the price-point; but Convenient Location for Airport and Downtown (or anywhere the MAX transit lines go!) the hotel is across the street from a full service transit center; i.e.. both buses and access to MAX (red-Line) and only couple stops...More

We do not have shuttle. We are directly across the street from the Parkrose/Sumner Transit Center which is a part of Portland's Mass Transit System called Trimet. The Lite Rail is called the MAX. The first train leaves our stop at 4:34 in the morning and arrives at baggage claim at 4:45 am. It runs approximately every 15 to 20 minutes. The last train leaves the airport at 11:49 and arrives at our stop at about midnight. The hotel front desk has schedules for the train or you can google trimet to check out all the places the Max light rail goes. The cost is $2.50 for a 2 hour ticket and $5.00 for an all day pass.
