Thankfully we only stayed one night at this motel. I was quite disappointed as it had fairly good reviews on tripadvisor. First, the positives - the location is excellent, with a light rail station right across the street which gets you downtown in less than 1/2 hour. The Wi-Fi worked well and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful...

Dear RP_traveller_2013, I am genuinely sorry for any inconvenience that you experienced during your stay. That is certainly not what we intended. I work very hard each day to ensure guests are satisfied and I understand that I failed you. If you don't mind me asking, when and who did you speak with at the front desk regarding smoke smell...

What can I say. The area certainly looked dodgy however entering the room I was pleasantly surprised it was large, had a fridge and microwave two luxury items when travelling. The bed wasn't extremely comfortable and the pillows were pancakes. Someone was playing loud music and the bass was vibrating through the room, I had to ring reception who sorted...

Dear ShellKovo, Thank you for taking the time to review us. I am glad that you found our refrigerators and microwaves which we have in all of our rooms useful to you! I am sad that you felt our beds were not comfortable - we get major compliments on the firmness of our mattresses. We do keep our dog lovers...

First off, the location is fantastic. It is directly across the street from a MAX station, and just a couple of miles from the airport. The neighborhood is clean and not as sketchy as what you may expect. Really, it's hard to top the location. The motel itself is clean, if a little dated. They offer a hot tub and...

Hello Jedi, Thanks for your glowing feedback! I agree I love the MAX and recommend it to everyone! Portland has some very convenient and user friendly public transportation. I am blushing at your review of our staff - thank you so much, it means a lot because we work hard to please guests like you. I'm also glad that you...

I thought we were going into some awful neighborhood according to other reviews but we enjoyed our time and the area. We stayed four nights without a problem and the room was very clean and the bathroom was nice and spacious!!

Spent one night here upon arrival in Portland. Very convenient to the airport, reasonably priced, and clean. The beds were comfortable, but needed a few extra pillows. Good sized fridge in the room was a nice bonus. The only negative was being on the second floor with people moving above us, we could constantly hear the floor creaking.

Normally I don't do economy hotels but this place turned out to be a gem. Great price, outstanding location, clean, very good staff and was an exceptional value. The guests ran from working stiffs to fancy guests who were visiting relatives in a nearby hospital. This seemed to be common at this place. I tweaked my back one day and...

Right across the street from the bus station and light rail. The best part being the light rail can go straight to and from the airport. Just a few bus stops from multiple great breweries. The rooms were pretty good for the price.

The only reason I can see for staying at this motel is the price. Booked two non-smoking rooms, both smelled of smoke, one so badly that we asked to be moved. How the cleaning staff could not have picked this up is beyond me. The continental breakfast was quite good and was the saving grace for this motel.

This is a very inexpensive place to stay that is not far from the convenient public transportation/metro rail to the Oregon Convention Center. Quiet, safe, and clean. Free wifi, and continental breakfast in the lobby was nice too. I was able to check in an hour early when I arrived. It was a convenient walk to the public transportation directly...

This was by far the cheapest hotel we could find but it is obvious why. We had to ask for a new room after walking into the first room we were given as it stunk of cigarette smoke even though it was a "non smoking" room. The second room did not stink but was still old and run down. The...

Dear Mr. Rob Lake, I would like to sincerely apologize for the issues that you had during your stay but I am glad that you were immediately moved to a satisfactory room that did not smell of smoke.
