The room was fairly large and it was very clean. The walls are thin, however, and even though our TV didn't work the entire time we were there, we could hear our neighbors' TV. It seems like the focus is on the people who stay in the higher priced rooms in the hotel and, if you are in the motel,...

My partner and I stayed here in August and we think it is one of the (if not THE) most unique accommodations near Crater Lake. The property, built in 1888, is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and is a heaven for travelers looking for an old era! Rooms are small but nicely furnished with antiques. They are named...

My husband surprised me with a surprise get away to crater lake..it was a last minute trip so his options were limited and he chose the Prospect Historic Hotel. The only choice was the Roosevelt room which had an outdoor balcony but there was no bathroom within the suite. Our private bathroom was just a short distance down the hall...

We stayed in the motel unit here while visiting Crater lake. It is about 40 minutes from the park entrance, but there is nothing that close to the park anyway unless you are lucky enough to get a room at the Rim Village. The place was clean and the staff was very helpful with all questions concerning getting to the...

This is a great place to stay if you are planning a relaxing, easy trip to Crater Lake! The drive from the airport in Medford was easy and we had great views of the Rogue River along our way. The hotel is easy to find and has a gas station and general store less than a block away. You can...

We planned our August trip to Crater Lake about a month before we left so finding lodging nearby was a challenge. We found this lodging on the trip advisor site and the reviews are right on. The overall impression was positive and homey. Our room, Motel #3 was quite small with one queen sized bed but the porch and grounds...

Very sweet place. Of course most rooms are small, but the porch is huge and its great to sit and sip on a glass of wine, meet people from anywhere and RELAX. Lots of thoughtful, kind touches and it has history that you can almost feel. Dinner very good ( the 80s decor needs an update ) but all in...

I booked the Jack London room, sight unseen. We had a bathroom with a toilet and shower in it. The basin was in the bedroom, next to the bed. My husband could sit on the bed and brush his teeth. There was no closet in our room either. The meals make up for everything that's negative about this hotel. Delicious,...

We stayed in the Francis Pearson room which was nice if a little old fashioned. The setting of the hotel is very nice and we really enjoyed sitting out on the verandah late into the evening. There are some good walks to waterfalls nearby and we used it as a base for Crater Lake.
