I've stayed at the motel twice now and both times I found it long on charm, clean and comfortable. The rooms had a country kitsch retro decor which in my book is a big plus over the usual roadside chain hotels. There was some road noise in my room toward the front of the property but the other room, located...

I've been staying here since 2011, and my review would be similar to Repeat Visitor. Roseburg is halfway for me also, so it is a great location. Mikey is always friendly and very helpful. I like the fun decor in the rooms, Number 6 is a favorite, with a full kitchen. If you enjoy going retro for a night, it...

We look forward to our stays here and my wife enjoys chatting with Mikey each time. We usually take her some fresh fruit from CA if we are going north. We've stayed several times since our first stop in 2012 and have occupied most of the rooms. Several have kitchenettes and they get frequent long term travelers. This is our...

Its an old motel, but once you open your room door it was like visiting Grandma. I felt like I was back in the 50s or 60s , cool man, except I have less hair. The paint was new , room was clean, fridge , stove, old heater like grandma , but it's still an old motel. Neat little outside...

I stayed at Rose City a few weeks for business. I love the decor, the garden area is lovely in summer. The manager seems nice. Road noise is horrible. Walls are very thin so don't turn up the volume on the TV or the guest next to you will probably complain. My room wasn't cleaned daily which wasn't a huge...

Had a great stay at this little motel. It has a B&B feel to it, cute and cosy. Loved the sitting area in the garden out back of the motel. They were very accommodating when we asked for a late check out.

Two nights in the rose room in Roseburg was not enough! The bed was very comfortable and the room just had a good vibe. Big flat screen TV and DVD player, fridge, microwave, elegant coffee mugs with a FULL SIZE coffee pot, gorgeous lamps and a comfy chair for reading...and for far less than any chain motel. This place is...

It's a great little, what I call a "Mom and Pop" motel. Park right outside your room. The room was nice and had a kitchen, although we didn't use it. We rode up on the Motorcycle, wasn't sure the gal was going to rent a room to us, we find that sometimes, guess they think you are an outlaw. But,...

Cutest place ever! Flowers everywhere plus a back yard seating area to relax in. Extremely clean. A friendly family owned business. The bathroom was very small but clean, cute and functional. I will stay there again!

Truly enjoyed our overnight at rose city. It is a family owned business and probably some of the friendliest people I've encountered running motel. Rooms were very comfortable and the decor was extremely homey. Flowers were everywhere! And, best of all, the price was extremely reasonable!
