The beautifully decorated, well-appointed cottage was completely equipped with a full kitchen. The view of the lovely landscaped gardens and pond from our deck was gorgeous. Penny and Mike were very friendly and their breakfasts were delicious. We'll be back!

We love Hopewell B&B. My first time was to rest from my own B&B for a week. Mike and Penny were amazing in letting me have my own space. The surroundings are so beautiful and between the hot tub and the beautiful view of the property I found my self at home and well rested. I brought my husband back...

We stayed here while visiting family near Salem. We had many activities planned over the weekend but the moment we arrived all I wanted to do was sit on the porch and read/relax. We stayed in the Lakeside Cottage. We were so enamored that we even skipped out early from family activities because we couldn't wait to get back!! You...

We had a wonderful experience at Hopewell B & B with our very gracious and helpful hosts Mike and Penny. They have created a beautiful experience, complete with gorgeous gardens, many birds, a pretty pond, perfectly appointed country cottage with attention to every detail, and fabulous breakfasts! Best of all, hosts Mike and Penny (and their friendly dog Buddy) are...

Mike and Penny are fantastic hosts -- Buddy, the dog, too. They are very friendly, down-to-earth people who love to share information about their home, family, and the local wineries and restaurants. The room was great...well appointed and all the comforts of home. Breakfast was delicious both days. If you are on a diet, ask Penny to provide a half-portion...

Hopewell is such a relaxing and peaceful place that you will never want to leave. My wife and I have stayed here twice, and both times have been simply fabulous. Mike and Penny are fun and interesting people to talk to. The property itself is gorgeous: 10+ acres of lush grass, amazing views, birds, and even a little pond. Upon...

I booked Hopewell Bed & Breakfast based on all (not one negative one) of the positive reviews I read on Trip Advisor, and we were not disappointed. Penny, Mike and Buddy lived up to all of our expectations and then some. The accommodations are very spacious and private, and the hospitality provided by the Walshes (Buddy included) is second to...

With over 400 wineries to visit and only 3 days we needed both a good location and a great living space. We found both with Mike and Penny Walsh of Hopewell B&B, Oregon. What a "gem" they have created in beautiful wine country, but it was their special hospitality that sets them apart from other places we have stayed. Breakfast...

Penny and Mike are in the absolute best area for R&R! We had a wedding to go to, but wanted to have some quiet personal time for ourselves also. We definitely found it! My husband and I work at a resort and this is far and above the peace and quiet we are used to. The breakfasts were superb and...
