This was our 3rd stay at camp Dakota...our first time in the rainy season...I almost cancelled due to the crazy storm weekend that was predicted...but was happy we did not cancel! I must say that I appreciated the email from camp Dakota warning us about the wicked expected weather! We stayed in yurt 46 and had an amazing time as...

Camp Dakota turned out to be an wonderful adventure. Great experience and our kids LOVED it. We typically stay at Provincial or State parks to tent camp, but found Camp Dakota when the weekend seemed booked everywhere else. It seemed different for sure with all the activities amidst a campground, but we thought, "Let's give it a try!" Well, our...

Just a quick couple days getaway. We stayed in yurt 22 which was perfectly located. Close to all the activities and the main lodge building. The yurt was great, clean with a ceiling fan and a BBQ on the deck. It was just us and our son so we had tons of room in the yurt that can sleep six....

We visited midweek and stayed in yurt 15 which is in a shady site under trees. It was hot out but we were cool where we were. This is one of the larger yurts with a large air hockey table inside and also a foosball table. It was a HUGE HIT, especially the air hockey. Really fun. Outside the yurt...

We stayed with our neighbors in a Tent Cabin site at Camp Dakota. We had been on a day trip once several years ago, but had never stayed over. My boys and neighbor kids participated in paintball, adventure course, gold pining and treasure hunting. The staff was beyond gracious and polite at EVERY encounter. There are some places that claim...

We had a wonderful family trip! It's a bit expensive as the activities add up but the experiences are worth it! The ropes courses are really exciting, the zip lines are a blast and we enjoyed the rock wall and other activities offered! We felt very safe while on the elements and while camping. Staff are very knowledgeable, helpful and...

It was a really positive experience for everyone. We took 3 girls of different degrees of activity levels, and there was something for them all. The staff was mostly very helpful. We were a little slow understanding how everything worked but they were patient and really helped to make the most of our camping package. The yurt was clean and...
