Thousand Trails Seaside has garnered appreciation for its resort-like atmosphere and family-friendly vibe. While some visitors feel the cost is steep given the amenities and have encountered additional fees, others have celebrated the hotel's pristine cleanliness and the attentive service provided by staff. The hotel is ideally situated for beach outings and local dining, but guests suggest the evening amenities and Wi-Fi access could be improved. Despite these concerns, the hotel's rooms are frequently commended for their modernity and neatness.

There are a significant amount of spaces permanently rented out, and many of those have very run down RVs. It also seemed that people could come and go even if they weren't members. The grass was mowed nicely and the camping spaces seemed to be maintained well, and the staff was very responsive and helpful. The WIFI was a bit finicky, and you have to pay to use it, but the signal was strong, and the company was very responsive when asked for help.

We stayed there summer 2021, for two stays. Both times the staff is excellent to talk to and they are very helpful and professional. The sites are ok, they are spaced better than many campgrounds, there are some trees and a good variety of space types. The campground had some children playing, making pleasant noise in the day, but quiet in the evening, night and mornings. My only gripe is probably with every campground, that the laundry machines are not as clean as they could be, and the poison stench from everyone using their dryer sheets and softeners gave me some coughing fits. I wish people would think of others sometimes when using public facilities like this. I wish campgrounds would ban the use of these things, it can really ruin someone's day if they are allergic and asthmatic.

There are a ton of great places to visit nearby. We highly recommend Oswald West State Park, just south of Cannon Beach. Of course Cannon Beach is a must.

I wouldn't recommend any of the local restaurants if you are on a budget - expect 25 to 30 dollars a place. If you are just blowing money on vacation, then go for it. There are many good choices.

We have Verizon and the reception was good for phone calls, and we were able to stream at lower resolution. There is an option to buy WIFI from the park at 15 dollars a week, or around 30 for a month. We bought this, and it was pretty good.

Campground was nice. Raining almost the whole time we were there. Streets were good but the RV sites were flooded. However, Upon request they did lay gravel on your RV site so you wouldn’t track mud into your RV.

This has become one of our favorite 1000 Trails park, I was worried when I didn't see a dump station and the the Park map didn't show sewer connections, it was a happy surprise that all of the sites had full water, electric, and sewer hookups for RVs. The local area was nice also. Seaside is a nice little tourist town that I remember from my childhood.

This was my first Thousand Trails membership use. Seaside city sewers were full due to heavy rains.
The rains continued.
As a result, we were asked to keep our tanks closed, laundromat and bathrooms were not available to me. I lost power several times for a few hours each time. Internet was unreliable in the rare times it was available, though I parked across the driveway from it. Paid internet was also unreliable, spotty and unstable when available.
At 27 degrees, the water lines to my coach froze. Other than that, it was a decent 14 day stay. Ranger Penny and membership specialist Beth were very helpful. I do plan to go back and give it another try soon.

We got the kitchenette cabin (2 beds) during August. The rate was relatively lower than hotels nearby. You get what you paid for. No wifi or TV. Has a gas grill but no stovetop for cooking. There were two sealed bags of towels and blankets, each with a note warning 'you open, you pay for it'. But no way to find out how much. No one answers the phone. Just one employee at the gate for check in during the limited hours. For cooking, the cabin has a sink, a coffee pot, a roll of paper towel, a microwave and a fridge.

Great, nice location RV Park. Even in torrential downpours, our site never puddled up or flooded. We love that it’s so convenient to everything, such as Seaside, Cannon Beach, Warrenton and Astoria. We have been here several times. Was shocked to see the place was almost full, in November, during flooding rain.

Seaside TT needs to address their procedures for restroom maintenance. Over the course of 3 days, the restrooms were not cleaned or sanitized. The trash wasn't removed, and the paper goods were not refilled. The restroom was disgusting, from the filthy fixtures and counters, to the moldy showers and filthy shower curtains, and to the filthy floor. The entire restroom needs a thorough cleaning and disinfecting. Certainly not up to TT standards.

We stayed in a full hookup 30amp pull through pretty level site. The bathrooms have been remodeled since we were there last year. The north side of the park sewer has been upgraded too so each site is full hook up. They have Yerts and cabins to rent if an RV isn't available. We love this park, its close to everything and beautiful drive north and south along the shore.

Only for members of the club. Otherwise if camping only - it's about a mile walk from the tent sites.

Is it possible to walk to the beach? If so how long does it take?

It is less than a mile to the beach from the entrance of the resort. From the resort it is a straight shot to the beach. My wife and I walk it all the time. The road in front of the resort will take you straight there, about 1/2 hour walk. It takes you right to the Boardwalk which goes right along the beach and to the downtown strip.

Hi there, I suggest, and heartily recommend, the KOA park in Seaside. The folks who run it are friendly, kind and professional. The park is attractive and many activities, if you are interested. We are camping in West Fir at Casey's RV Park...fabulous place on the Middle Fork of the Willamette River, near Oakridge...highly recommend it!), so I don't have their contact info handy, but you can look them up. Happy travels and hope you enjoy your stay!!
