This was the best deal I think we've ever purchased on Groupon. Everything went as smoothly as possible and we appreciated the recommendation list provided by Damon for good places to eat or drink. Seaside is my least favorite city on the coast to stay because downtown has such a carnival-like atmosphere but the Sandy Cove is south of the... More

Thank you so much for the wonderful review. We love being on the south side of town... Away from the noise and congestion of downtown but having the restaurant and grocery store right across the street is great....And it is only a short 13 minute walk to Broadway. We are so happy you had a good time and look forward... More

Other than the odd shower it was a great stay. Front desk staff was very friendly. Room was a little small but great location within walking distance to the beach. The bar across the street was great to.

The house is nice and comfortable. The shower was a problem as there is hardly any water flow and it's difficult to adjust temperature. We would recommend two things. First we think there is a flow restrictor in the shower head (we have one at home too, but not so small) that lets little water through. It's so little that... More

We are very pleased that you enjoyed the house. Thank you for letting us know about the shower problem that you experienced. I have already passed the word to the owners and general manager. We are working on fixing the problem and are very sorry for any inconvenience. Thank you again for the feedback. More

Room was Beautiful! The staff was very friendly and gave excellent advise on places to eat and visit in the surrounding areas. Close to the Prom and beach. It was quiet in the evening as the hotel is a few blocks over from the main road and beach access.

Small rooms, the TV seemed to only get the History Channel but the bed was comfortable and you are only about a block from the shore. Its reasonably-priced and they allow dogs in a few of the ground floor rooms. Not bad for an overnight stay but it's probably a bit basic for longer than that.

In October we had 2 of our adult children, along with their spouses, come to visit so we planned a night for them at Sandy Cove Inn. We have stayed there 3 times and wanted them to have that coastal experience. This time they got the kids room which worked out bed wise because another daughter went with them...so 2... More

I have stayed at the Sandy Cove Inn at least 5 times now. It is my go-to hotel on the coast. I love it because it is always very clean and inviting, and has more personality than most other seaside hotels put together! The hotel itself is a mere two blocks from the beach, with a small grocery store and... More

We stayed at the Sandy Cove Inn for two nights and was thoroughly satisfied. It's more Motel than Hotel, but the reception area and rooms have been thoroughly updated and are clean, clean, clean. On top of being clean, the rooms don't feel like a motel. The beds are very comfortable and the amenities are nicely done. Our room, Gertrude,... More

Awesome, awesome hotel. Off the beaten path in Seaside, so you're away from the touristy hustle and bustle of Broadway, but close enough to get to it easily (i.e. walk) if that's your thing. Mike has a great list of places to eat in the area (the only thing missing are breakfast suggestions - which Mike actually has, just on... More

The Sandy Cove Inn is a family-owned boutique motel located two blocks from the beach and promenade in historic Seaside, Oregon. We are on the quiet end of town but still very close to the town’s attractions, and we combine the personal touch with modern conveniences like free WiFi and some pet-friendly rooms. We have everything from basic rooms to vacation rentals, and with both a market and restaurant just across the street, we are the perfect place for a fun, peaceful stay on the Oregon Coast. We even have themed rooms like the Wave Room with surf art, a wave mural and an actual surfboard; there’s also a 1940s Room, a Monopoly Room, and a Boat Room, among several others. We’re one of the last family-owned motels in town, and that means a lot to us; in fact, we live right here on the property.
