We were invited by a family member who works as one of the site management to come visit the resort. We live in Eugene, but we were told to make the trip for the light display, ice skating, and snowless tubing, our relative (remember on site management) told us to arrive at 4pm,

Hi Mi3aaanb, We're very sorry to hear about your latest experience with us. We do apologize for how crowded it was in the Resort as it's a very popular time of day for us! We understand your frustrations as it was hard to get the answers you needed. We also apologize for the miscommunication of ice skating and tubing! We have ice skating and snowless tubing during the day from noon-4pm as well as at night time during the event, it looks like the verbiage on our sign was misleading. We'll definitely make changes to not let that happen again to guests in the future. Our admission prices also raise by $3 when you purchase at the door instead of pre-purchasing online. Again we do apologize for the experience that you had and really do hope you'll give us another shot in the future. If you have any questions at all don't hesitate to reach out to info@christmasinthegarden.com to get all of your questions answered. We want to make sure all of our guests have the information they need before they arrive on property! Jade

We were very excited about this, we've never been there before. I payed over $250 to stay for one night. Included in the price was 2 souvenir coffee mugs, entry to the garden for 2, and breakfast for 2. They advertise that you can go snowless inner tubing, and ice skating, what t

Our friends, Brian and Natalie, discovered the Oregon Garden Resort while in northwest Oregon and wanted to share their discovery. The four of us spent a December Saturday night at the resort and really enjoyed ourselves. The German Christmas on the garden grounds runs all throug

Full disclosure: Due to an unsatisfactory visit to Moonstone a year ago and the subsequent negative review – Ms. Peggy Bell, Assistant GM at Moonstone offered us a complimentary one-night stay - and we decided to give it another shot.

We had a wonderful time at the Oregon Garden Resort. This is such a sweet place. The room was awesome and loved the fire place. There was also a little patio outside our room but was a little too cold to use. We also got free pass to go into the Gardens which was beautiful.

Would you like to use soap that looks like this? Disgusting. Why wouldn't housekeeping throw this away?
Scraped toilet seat can't possibly be kept sterile and clean.

Hi. this looks like a wonderful place to stay! I have been to the Gardens but did not check out the Resort. I understand that pets are allowed in the outdoor dining area, but are they allowed in the lounge area for the live music sessions? And what would I do with my little Chihuahua if I wanted to go to the spa for a massage?
I'm not sure about taking dogs into the bar but you could call them and ask . My dog was an 18 week old Labrador pup and she does very well crated when I go out to dinner . So if your dog crates well that is a good solution . Overall, I would say it's a great place to visit with a dog--lots of great walking!

I stayed on May 16th expecting a nice quiet dinner, with a garden view and relaxing atmosphere with music later. It was the reason I chose staying at the Garden Resort. Unfortunately there had been a major water leak and the dining room was not available and the music was canceled. We ate banquet style in a brightly lit banquet room and also, unfortunately, was ignored until another customer pointed out that we were not being served. I believe some sort of compensation for the loss of a "nice evening" would have made the bad service more "palatable." The rooms were very nice and comfortable!!
Don't have any idea what Carol K's response had to do with anything????

do the rooms have a DVD player?
I didn't see one in my. It doesn't mean that they don't have one tucked behind the front desk for those few who want one, so I would call ahead and ask. I hope this helps. :)

"try for the upper level of unit - patio on bottom level have no view other than a blank wall"
"There are 6 rooms per building so ask for one at the back away from the parking lot."
"We found our room on the end of the building to be just fine."
"we were in building G the room (209) was great and the balcony very private. the fireplace, once lit, added a lot to our stay."
"Pick rooms that have a little garden out back vs balconys. If you come in the summer, get a room with morning sun vs. the afternoon sun."
