We really enjoyed our time there . The service was warm and friendly. They were very accommodating. we screwed up our reservations they went out of their way to fix our screw up . the cabins were older but clean and very reasonably priced boat rental was reasonable as well . the only complaint i would have of the cabins...

I stayed at Clear Lake Resort while on a TransAmerica bicycle tour. It had rained on me all day and when I arrived I was cold and wet. The nicest lady ever, Tanna, showed me to my rustic cabin and, bless her heart, helped me push my bike up a steep short hill and stairs into the room. The cabin...

We had 29 people staying in various places on the lake. Don't expect a 3-5* RESORT. If you understand this is basically a camping level facility, you will be fine. Our 92 year old mother along with her caregiver and two daughters stayed in the handicap double modern cabin #21 (downstairs in the two story building). All cabins are rather...

I was extremely disappointed with my recent stay at Clear Lake Resort. Clear Lake itself is one of my favorite places in the world, and it's a true shame that the "resort" is a complete dump. My husband and I generally fall on the "budget" side of the travel spectrum, and we were fully aware that our accommodations would be...

Our family stayed in one of the deluxe cabins in mid-September, it it was a lovely experience. The cabin had nice amenities, though the walls were a bit thin between ours and the co-joining unit -- if you had a large enough group to take advantage of 3-4 bedrooms, you'd do well to rent an entire cabin with 2 co-joined...

The Dude and I stayed in a rustic cabin for two nights over Labor Day weekend, and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience as well as affordable. We did a lot of hiking in the area---the hike around the lake is approximately 5 miles and takes you through a couple different ecosystems, due to volcanic activity. Close proximity to a...

We were in Sisters at the Gallery having their great fish and chips. They are better than any we have had even on the Oregon Coast or Seattle area too!. How would expect that. Met some nice travelers that asked what to look at. They had been to Bend and were headed to Eugene over the McKenzie Pass. That is...

My hubby, two kids and dog visited here one summer several years ago. Only spent one night in one of the more rustic cabins. Upon seeing it my kids said, "mom this place is a dump". I was very rustic indeed. But hey, it was only for one night, they allowed dogs and it's at an incredibly beautiful scenic lake...

Our small boy scout trip made an overnight event of fishing, hiking, and using the group area. The rustic cabin worked great for them. The staff was very helpful and accommodating and the location is quick and easy to get to from the Salem area.

The Lake is beautiful - I would go for that only. Cabin: We rented a single rustic cabin. Upon entry we were assaulted by the smell of industrial disinfectant so strong we had to let the room air out for about 5 minutes before we could enter. I spilled some water on the floor and when I wiped it up...

“Rent units #21 and #22 together if possible, due to sound transference.”

“They 'rustic' are just like an old cabin in the 30's. You have to bring your own bedding to all units. Check out the more moder units. They would not please many. But we go for the historic affect of those rustic cabins. We used to go several times per year and volunteer at work parties. The employees seem unconcerned about history, have no info at all to add, no concern at all. They are never that busy and could spread out their time abd be open later as many travelers arrive later than expected they have enjoyed the local natural beauty so much. A how many travelers expect a resort to have no food at all after 5:46 pm?”
