If the place is full you will not have a pleasant stay. Creaks and thin walls make for lots of between room noise. At low occupancy it is a good value. Shared bathrooms and no WiFi. Pleasant enough folks were manning the front desk when I stayed. Location location location.

This place is right out of 1950's America. The worn linoleum is clean & adds to the nostalgia. Very clean, rustic antlers & outdoor decor, along with wonderful advice from Billie Joe. This place feels like home. & yes; just like yesteryear; you get to share a bathroom. $35/night is unbeatable. Dead quiet as this is a mile from US...

I had ridden my motorcle for over an hour in rain southbound on Hwy 395 late at night. I was cold, wet, the wind was blowing, I had no idea where I was, and feeling miserable in the 51 degree temperature. I had trouble seeing the road because of the water on my goggles. This place could sure use some attention. I needed a place to stay so I could ride the dirt bike trails in the morning without first driving an hour from the nearest large town. There are about 10 rooms and only two bathrooms so if you go during hunting season, it might not be fun waiting to go... Is there...
