my first time staying at a bed & breakfast, and I'm sold. As long as they are all like this. Being there, you truly feel as if you're in your own home with a couple of roommates. Our room was not only beautiful but had a great view. The breakfast was to die for. A seven course meal where good...

For My Dad and Step Mother's Anniversary I had a bottle or champagne and a keepsake Christmas Ornament from the Lighthouse Gift Shop and it was PERFECT! Steven, the Inn Keeper, was fantastic and prompt with returning my emails. I was doing this all blindly from Montana and depending on the staff to make it special and Steven and Crew...

My husband and I got married here because we love the Oregon coast and the lighthouse offers wedding packages. Don't waste your time getting married here unless you are willing to throw lots of money at them so that they will treat your special day like it is special. We bought the small wedding package because we had a small...

This is a hard review to respond to and not necessarily why you might think. Of course a bad review is hard to see. If it is warranted and touches on something that we could do better than it is a due and we will take the criticism This particular review is difficult because it impacts how we deal with...

My sister and I escaped the desert heat of southern Arizona to stay at Heceta Head Lighthouse Bed and Breakfast on the cool Oregon Coast during the last week of July. The view from our room, Mariner's Room I, was stunning to say the least! Everyday we enjoyed the captivating view of Cape Cove with its sandy beach, the dramatic...

What an amazing experience at Haceta Head lighthouse. I would say that it is not for everyone. We loved the proximity to the water and the lighthouse. Loved the fact that the innkeepers give a flashlight in the room so that you can venture up to the lighthouse (but not in) at any time during the night. We chose midnight!...

Stayed at the B & B last month. We were in the Lighthouse Keeper room, and while comfortable, the mattress wasn't the best..... Needs to be replaced. Even with that problem, I would still rate this place wonderful.....great views, wonderful sounds of the ocean, easy walk to the lighthouse...and an absolutely wonderful multicourse breakfast. I hope they change the mattress...

This is a treasure of a place. I was disappointed to see that it was shared bath only which I was not comfortable with. I had to carry my own bags up some narrow curved stairway and that was difficult. It is a historical place with a lot of history to share. The breakfast was family style seating which at...

We loved our Stay and didn't want to leave! We had no trouble following directions to the Inn . Our room had a private Bath with a breathtaking view of the Lighthouse and the rugged Ocean ! The Lighthouse Keepers Room was clean and comfortable. It was soothing to hear the sound of the crows and the waves crashing against...

My wife and I have traveled across this country for many years and have stayed at a variety of hotels, motels, inns and B&B's. Our overnight stay at the Heceta Head Lighthouse B&B ranks as the very worst of them all, by far and away. The grossest part of our visit was the discovery of fecal matter on the seat...
