We first found the Overleaf when our daughter was a toddler. We've been coming back almost yearly every since. We keep trying to find a less expensive option, but keep coming back for the value we find at the Overleaf. Very clean rooms, all ocean-facing, a nice breakfast, always-available hot drinks in the lobby, a great beach for exploring tidepools,... More

From my arrival to departure (unfortunately was only there one night) was wonderful. Front desk was warm and friendly, even loaning me a flashlight when I took the walking path to dinner in case it was dark when I came back! The Aveda spa was pure bliss - had a 90 minute stress relief massage and it was wonderful! Sat... More

If you think that the remote, small towns of Oregon have nothing about which they can boast, think again. The Overleaf Lodge and Spa dispels all those ugly rumors. As soon as you enter the lobby, rich in driftwood, and loaded with marvelous art, you know you have found someplace unique. All the rooms face the sea, which is also... More

We arrived late in the afternoon, and upon checking into our room were astounded to discover how close we were to the ocean! Literally right outside the door we could watch the tide coming in, and hear the crashing of the waves. Exactly what we hoped for! The room itself was immaculate, clean and comfortable and the public areas showcase... More

It was our first trip to Overleaf. A girls weekend away. We loved everything from the peaceful surroundings both outside and inside, to the convenience of the "snack bar". The entire spa experience was fantastic including relaxing in the soaking pool and overlooking the Pacific Ocean. I received the best facial ever. The breakfast was something to look forward to... Heaven is to sit outside your room, with a beer watching the Whales in the distance then having the most spectacular sunset, life does not get better. Then the following night we walked along the coastal footpath at dusk, fantastic, then to see each night a violinist on the clifftop playing away was spellbinding. Its location is central to many... I researched best coastal town on the Oregon coast and Yachats came up over and over. I was celebrating my 60th birthday and had one night to spend on the Oregon coast. I followed some suggestions on town and hotels and the Overleaf fit the description. the Overleaf sits right on the waters edge. we could see and hear the... More

Went with 3 other girlfriends to visit the Oregon coast and stayed at the Overleaf for two nights. We originally booked two rooms but once we saw the size of the rooms we only used one room. It was a perfect set up for four. Two queen beds and two sinks that were outside of the toilet/shower area. All rooms... More

We have stayed at the Overleaf Lodge every chance we get. The staff are great, rooms are wonderful and the view from the soaking tub is fabulous. Last week (August-2013) we watched 3 whales just off shore feeding while enjoying the soaking pool and the hot tub. They serve up one of the best free breakfasts I have seen and... More

We are smack dab in the middle of the midwest so it was a trip for us to the Oregon Coast but well worth the time and money...if you have never been you are in for a wonderful experience!
